| Abstract: | Based on the field interview,this case study of Chinese community in Medan of Indonesia tries to classify the Chinese associations and their leadership according to their power in economy and public activities.The study analyzes the internal structure of the distinctive Chinese community in Medan in terms of the relationship between Chinese association and their leadership at various levels.The study also tries to present a perspective on the future of the Chinese society in Indonesia. |
