In 2011, although the major countries inSouth Asia remained stable politically, their economies enjoyed fast growth, and diplomacy among the regional powers and with the big powers kept active, they suffered serious inflation and social development stagnation. The war on terror did not bring peace and stability for the region, but many social and security problems for Pakistan and Afghanistan.
