New Development of ASEAN's Strategy on FTA and Its Influence

Currently ASEAN has achieved FTAs with China, Japan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand and India, which marks ASEAN has made staged progress on its FTA strategy. Thereafter ASEAN had established its FTA/EPA network covering all surrounding major countries, consolidated its center position in Asian regional economic cooperation, enhanced its discourse power, and played an important role in Asian regional economic cooperation. The continuous push of ASEAN＇ s FTA strategy will have a great influence on ASEAN itself and China.
