Bush＇s way of behavior, especially showing his willingness to hold dialogues with his rivals, including North Korea, Barack Obama gave room of imagination over how U.S.-North Korean relations could be improved. Obama came into office under the backdrop where the Democratic Party is in control of both the House and the Senate, which is good for him to carry out plans as he wishes. Whether Northeast Asia is able to grasp the opportunity offered by Obama＇s ＂change＇policy, therefore, is in itself a big challenge.
