May 17th, 2005 marks the 4th anniversary of the passing away of Ikuma Dan, re- nowned Japanese musician and good friend of the Chinese people. CHINA has long had a close relationship with Africa, and in recent years economic and political ties have grown even stronger. Both the Chinese government and private enterprises have significant investments on the African continent. Last November a 20-member governmental delegation came to Beijing from the central-east African nation of Uganda, to talk to Chinese political and business leaders about fostering economic and cultural links between the two countries. Preface to "Tracking Down the Traes of Gods——Journey to Greece"

"Tracking Down the Traces of Gods-Journey to Greece", a collection of poems written by ChenHaosu, vice-president of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries(CPAFFC), was published in Athens in December 1995, when he led a CPAFFC delegation to Greece toattend the Third Europe-China International Conference.
