山西平遥县衙大门的门联是：莫寻仇莫负气莫听教唆到此地费心费力费钱就胜人终累己；要酌理要揆情要度时世做这官不勤不清不慎易造孽难欺天。上联所表达的是“慎讼”原则，它告诫民众提起诉讼要冷静思考，独立判断，不要制造诉累，诉讼毕竟费心费钱费力：下联所表达的是“公断”原则，告诫法官为官断案要勤勉清正，审时度势，依法处理纠纷，断案并非可以为所欲为。     

阿兰·朱利安的平遥情结
