马克、日元国际化的实践及启示

近来年,随着人民币国际地位的提高,其国际竞争力也得到逐步提升.通过回顾马克与日元的国际化之路,总结了两种货币在国际化过程中成功与失败的原因,最后得出对应于人民币国际化进程的启示,从而为人民币国际化提供可借鉴的经验.     

Vietnam and the governments and people of Kampuchea

Abstract

In December 1978, the Far Eastern Economic Review discussed the prospects of the newly-fanned United Front for National Salvation (UFNS) in Kampuchea led by Heng Samrin. It quoted Western intelligence sources as saying that in villages where it was established, one of the first moves the UFNS made was to demolish the communal dining halls built by the Pol Pot forces. The sources commented: “surprisingly, the Front seems to be getting popular support.”

长期以来,中国与东盟经济的互补和竞争关系一直是颇有争议的问题.中国与东盟经济之间的互补和竞争,是决定和制约双边经济关系发展的基础.近年来,随着各国要素禀赋、产业结构以及比较优势的演进,双边经济关系发展中的互补与竞争呈现出一系列变化.     

Academic freedom and the occupation of Germany and Japan

Abstract

In the years 1948-54, New York University suffered an anticommunist “purge” of its faculty which was extreme even in its day. That the “McCarthyite” period at NYU was so vicious is at first puzzling. National hysteria about atomic secrets notwithstanding, it remains true that some universities with greater prestige (and hence seemingly of greater political importance) and others with more conservative administrations stopped far short of the suspension of academic freedom experienced at Washington Square and University Heights. Further, the “purges” seem to have been the product of a minority movement of anticommunist activists, and not a rebellion on the part of libertarian-minded faculty or students. A politically conformist and usually passive campus had to be convinced of the need for an ideological crusade.

"统一俄罗斯"党的理论与实践评析

"统一俄罗斯"党目前是俄国第一大党。它自称人民党,是代表俄罗斯全民族利益的政党。它的思想基础是"政治中派主义",宣称采取介于左翼和右翼之间的中间立场;反对"政治激进主义",主张"保守主义";对苏联历史在批判其消极因素的同时肯定其积极成果;全面支持普京总统的路线政策;主张建立强有力的国家,保护人权和生态环境;要求把温和的自由主义与俄罗斯的传统价值观结合起来;外交上支持普京总统推行多边务实政策。俄国政党制度目前虽然保持多党制形式,实际上出现了一党独大的格局。"统一俄罗斯"党与普京总统结盟使它的影响迅速扩大,但也造成了对总统的高度依赖性,出现了"强势总统、弱势政党"的局面。     

韩国扶持中小企业发展的经验与启示

为使中小企业在新一轮的改革中增创新优势 ,本文对韩国扶持中小企业的经验加以总结 ,并提出今后我国发展中小企业应采取的扶持措施。     

习近平首脑外交与中国白俄罗斯“一带一路”合作

自习近平成为中国领导人以来,在外交领域积极发挥关键性的领导作用,首脑外交已成为中国外交的最高形式。习近平外交思想强调党对外交工作的绝对领导,强调维护首脑对外交工作的核心领导。习近平主席对于中白合作的倡议得到卢卡申科总统的认同和支持,首脑外交已经成为中白“一带一路”合作快速发展的关键性因素。中白克服了空间距离远、产业合作条件不佳的困难,在白俄罗斯首都明斯克市郊建设中白工业园,并被纳入“一带一路”建设框架内,目前该项目的进展迅速。中国与白俄罗斯的“一带一路”合作是远高于一般意义上的经济合作,是一种基于政治互信的合作。从中白合作中我们得出一个结论:因势利导和差异性的合作形式是“一带一路”建设的新特点。“一带一路”绝不仅仅是一条交通物流走廊,更是一种全球经济合作的新模式,是中国参与经济全球化的一种制度创新。

The Study of Religion and Society in Contemporary Asia: Colonialism and Beyond; Asian Visions of Authority: Religion and the Modem States of East and SoutheastAsia

Abstract

In 1989, the Islamicist Bruce Lawrence suggested that, in a global context, the term fundamentalism should be replaced by the term antimodernism, which, to Mark Juergensmeyer, “suggests a religious revolt against the secular ideology that often accompanies modern society.” The papers in this volume are similarly concerned with the social implications of “religious revolt,” i.e., of continued religious vitality in lands that had presumably adopted “modern” patterns of secular nationalism. Such thinking, however, raises deeper issues about the very notion of “modernity.”     

中俄睦邻友好合作条约与中俄关系

本文以中俄睦邻友好合作条约的签定为主题,探讨了三个方面的问题:条约签定的条件,条约的意义和内容分析,条约签定之后中俄关系的课题。本文认为中俄关系10年发展的积累、两国对外战略的形成、俄罗斯国内政治的稳定是促使中俄睦邻友好合作条约签定基本因素;中俄睦邻友好合作条约的意义,其一是总结过去,梳理两国关系已取得的成果并以国家间条约的形式加以巩固,其二是面向未来,为两国关系的远景奠定可靠的基础。另外,本文探讨了中俄睦邻友好合作条约签定之后两国关系面临的主要课题。     

日本-东盟自由贸易区的进程与前景

为适应世界性区域经济一体化的浪潮,日本制定了FTA战略,确定优先与东盟建立自由贸易区的目标.日本-东盟自由贸易区的建立,将对东亚区域经济一体化的进程产生重要的影响.     

Hegemony and the politics of culture and identity in Thailand

Abstract

This article argues that the establishment of the Ministry of Culture in Thailand needs to be understood in a broadly historical perspective that relates to the role of culture in hegemonic strategies of the state. It presents an overview of broadly defined culture policy in Thailand from the 1930s before moving to a more detailed discussion of the period from the 1980s to the present. The principle contention, developed in the second half of the article, is that the current policies of Thailand's Ministry of Culture, and its role in hegemonic identity production, can only be understood by taking account of the variety of factors that shaped the Ministry's emergence. These factors include the influence of international development agencies, strategies of appropriation by the Thai state, and the role of progressive forces within Thailand that seek political and cultural reform. The circumstances under which the Ministry was formed have made it a site of contestation between conservative royalist-nationalist perspectives on Thai national identity and progressive localist and international understandings of Thai national identity.
