当代社会学理论的社会空间转向

潘泽泉在《江苏社会科学》2009年第1期撰文认为，空间的社会学研究成为社会学领域近几年一个热门话题，空间转向，实际上表达了对传统社会学知识范式的某种修正，社会空间涵括了丰盈的话语场域、经验性事实或想象力限度，通过对西方社会学知识史的回顾和总结以及有关空间的经验社会学研究的思考，空间是一个重要的知识或分类概念且为整个知识的一个重要基础，空间的逻辑和运作机制能帮助我们重新推演发展出理解社会的一个不同的新的知识系统，将空间概念发展成一种重要的、旨在解释人类行动的系统理论，     

社会学的研究范式：解释社会的可能性及其效度——兼论农民工研究范式的转换

社会结构分析范式和社会网络分析范式构成了社会学的两种主要研究范式,在社会学研究领域也一直处于宰制地位。结构解释试图在个体之外寻找行动主义的根源,把结构作为深层秩序的规则总体和体系的潜在逻辑,结构决定了栖居其上物体的位置和功能,过于强调行动对结构的受动性和强制性;社会关系网络的研究大多把关系作为一种生产的资源（生产者模式）,把网络看成是理解社会和行为的“基本建筑材料”,两者都忽视了其在社会实践过程中存在的日常生活实践特征,忽视了人们能够创造自己生活世界和进行意义建构的能力,社会学研究需要一种面向日常生活实践的研究转向。     

何谓“空间”——一种来自城市社会学学科的思考

空间一直是城市社会学研究的合理领域。从城市社会学学科的高度，梳理空间研究的历史，在此基础上解析空间研究的范式，总结空间研究的理论内涵，使我们认识到城市社会学研究的空间是社会建构出来的，本质上是一种社会空间，其物质性、社会性和发展性将社会、空间和时间三者辩证地结合在一起，为当下社会研究提供了一个强有力的解释工具。
