2015年12月12-13日,中国国际问题研究院和中国国际问题研究基金会在北京联合举办“2015年国际形势与中国外交研讨会”,来自中央各有关部委和全国主要学术研究机构及媒体近200名代表与会.国务委员杨洁篪出席大会闭幕式并作重要讲话,外交部长王毅出席大会开幕式并作重要演讲,外交部副部长郑泽光出席大会闭幕式.

2005年总的国际形势可概括为:美国继续推行一超独霸战略,但明显表露出力不从心;世界主要力量开始向均衡化方向发展;经济全球化成为影响国家内部和国与国关系的主要因素;恐怖主义和公共安全威胁对国际政治的影响日甚。中国外交着眼多边外交,增强外交软实力,取得了一系列新的成果。

As a multilateral cooperation mechanism founded and developed in the post-Cold War era, the SCO has great significance to China's multilateral diplomacy and plays a unique role in international and regional governance.
