关于高等职业教育地域特色的探索

高等职业教育是高等教育的一种类型,按照地域特点科学地设置院校和学科有利于促进高等职业教育的发展、提高办学质量和学生就业率。文章在分析影响高等职业院校办学质量和发展因素的基础上,依据我国的各项教育法律和法规,按照高等教育办学规律和我国职业教育办学特点,提出高等职业教育按其地域特色和产业结构特点、经济发展状况和市场人才需求情况,有侧重地发展一些院校及重点专业,以推动我国高等职业院校科学、健康地发展。

本文对高等职业教育的含义、高等职业教育产生的原因、发展高职教育的必要性、现阶段如何发展高等职业教育及应注意的问题谈了自己的观点。提出发展高等职业必须准确把握高职的社会功能,体现高等职业的办学特色;必须营造一个良好的职教社会环境。从产业发展的趋势,劳动力的结构、职业教育的改革发展等几个方面阐明在中国现阶段发展高等职业教育的必要性和紧迫性。
