国画探源

中国画源远流长,己有2000多年的历史。中国画发源于古代陶器表面图案鱼、鸟、兽等,线条简单而明快;中国画在春秋战国时期出现帛画、庙堂圣贤画像、宫廷壁画、佛像,至隋唐趋向全盛;两宋及元明,水墨文人画逐渐占据主流;清及民国,西画渐近,传统绘画日趋衰落。近代中国画在摹古与创新的碰撞中艰难前行。溯源探流仅为当代在传统绘画的传承有所下降的情况下,立足东方绘画传统,吸收西方绘画精粹,走东西方融合之路,让中国画得到更好的发展。     

文件检验技术与书画鉴定

我国的书画鉴定工作一直沿袭传统的鉴定方式,在很大程度上依靠鉴定者的经验和主观意识。本文从现代文件检验科学的角度,提出了书画鉴定与文件检验同源同理同道。探讨了书画鉴定的科学技术方法,在吸收传统鉴定的合理成分的基础上,发挥文件检验科学的学科优势,从技术上为书画鉴定提供客观依据,指出了使用现代科学技术的方法鉴定书画,是书画鉴定的重要途径之一。     

中国当代架上绘画符号化现象解读

图式和符号化的绘画语言反映了当代油画家对社会生活、人类命运的哲学的思考和探索。当然也造成了年轻的画家们急功近利心态,片面追求符号化的“当代”意味,散发着浓重的追名逐利的猥琐气息。这是我们需要冷静思考的。

在远古时代,西方女性裸体形象强调的是性崇拜,中国强调的则是生殖崇拜,带有明显的血缘内涵.奴隶社会的古希腊,性崇拜在当时特定的大文化背景下,理所当然地演变为对于人体美的迷恋和创造,使人体艺术得以发展和繁荣;非常强调宗法观念和血缘继承关系的中国古代,则本能地反对"伤风败俗"、"诲淫诲盗"的人体艺术.西方非常注重人体形式美的塑造,并力图通过人的形体美去显现人的内在美;中国却非常注重人物神韵的传达和人伦的鉴识,甚至可以在"离形得似"中实现对审美理想的追求.西方绘画经历了人体画--有风景的人体画--有人体的风景画的演变过程,人体美是其中不可或缺的元素;中国绘画发展到南北朝时,由于受到玄学的深刻影响,很快便进入到山水风景画的成熟期,人体画没有得到充分发展.如此,造成了中西人体艺术的巨大差异.

Fu Baoshi started painting figures after his relocation to Sichuan Province in the 1930s. Lust for Life

In January 2018, when Lyu Xiaoning crossed the threshold of La Casa Azul, Frida Kahlo's family home in Coyoacán, Mexico, she was touched by a particular painting named Viva la Vida. For her last work, completed in 1954 fol-lowing complications from an amputated leg, Kahlo chose to paint vivacious red watermelons for their significance to the Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), a Mexican holiday celebrated on November 1 and 2. This holiday sees fam-ily and friends gather in remembrance of those who have gone before them. The artist inscribed the words "Viva la Vida"on the central melon wedge at the bottom of the canvas, which trans-late as "Long live life," just eight days before she died.     

Festival Begins in Tibet

A giant Tangka,a religious silk embroidery or painting of Buddha,is unfolded by monks on the hill slope near Drepung Monastery on the outskirts of Lhasa,capital city of southwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region,starting the 2011 Shoton Festival,which lasts from August 29 to September 4.Shoton Festival,one of the most popular traditional festivals in Tibet,is celebrated annually from the end of the sixth month to the beginning of the seventh month according to the Tibetan calendar.It attracts tens of thousands of Buddhists and tourists each year.During the weeklong festival,people gather to drink yogurt,watch Tibetan operas,and pay homage to giant paintings of Buddha.Originating from the 11th century,the festival is now a national intangible cultural heritage.

The new thinking of Sino‐US relations—An interview note

In the summer of 1996, this author visited Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Jiangsu Province. Despite the widespread geography and the variety of personnel, the numerous interviews and the literature published at the time demonstrated high consensus of opinion. As a whole, the Chinese are confident, proud, and patriotic. Towards the US, they are disappointed, frustrated, angered, and somewhat assertive.
