Several series of experiments were performed to study the distribution of GSR particles in seven directions in the surroundings of shooting firearm (pistol CZ 85 caliber 9 mm Luger). External and internal conditions and two different primer types were used for the shooting experiments. The results showed that maximum number of GSR particles could be found in the right front quadrant at a distance of 2–4 m with respect to the shooting firearm position and shooting direction. GSR particles were even found in distance 10 m from shooting firearm. A significant influence of climatic conditions on GSR distribution was confirmed.  相似文献

目的研究92式手枪射击距离与射击残留物分布密度的相关性,为射击距离的推断提供依据。方法选择92式手枪,在带皮的猪肉上覆盖白色棉布,设计了0m,0.1m,0.2m,0.5m,1.0m,1.5m,3.0m,5.0m,10m,15.0m,20.0m,25.0m共12个距离进行射击,提取白棉布上的弹孔圆周和距弹孔2cm的圆周上的射击残留物,利用扫描电镜/能谱仪对不同射击距离遗留在白棉布上的射击残留物进行检验。结果白棉布上射击残留物分布密度与射击距离呈负相关的关系。结论根据棉布上射击残留物的分布密度,能够推断射击距离,对涉枪案件中射击距离的判断有一定的参考价值。  相似文献

目的研究92式手枪射击残留物检出率与遗留时间的相关性,为射击时间的推断提供依据。方法实验人员使用92式手枪分别射击1枪和3枪,射击后分别在0.5h内,24h,48h,72h,120h,168h,对实验人员的手部及衣袖袖口处进行射击残留物的提取,利用扫描电镜和能谱仪对射击残留物进行检验。结果射击人的手部和衣袖会附着大量的射击残留物,随着时间的推移,手部的残留物数量急剧减少,24h(射击1枪)、72h(射击3枪)后不能检测到枪击残留物。而衣袖处120h(射击1枪)、168h(射击3枪)内均可检测到射击残留物,且射击残留物的检出率与遗留时间呈负相关性。结论随着遗留时间的增加,衣袖处射击残留物检出率递减,对涉枪案件中射击时间的判断有一定的参考价值。  相似文献

This study evaluates the abilities of the Integrated Ballistics Identification System (IBIS) and BulletTRAX-3D electronic imaging systems to identify bullets fired by the same weapon in a large database of images. Ten consecutively rifled handgun barrels were test fired to obtain reference sample and known match sample pairs for upload onto both bullet acquisition systems. Both copper-jacketed and lead bullets were uploaded, to account for variations in the manner in which markings are reproduced on the different metal compositions. Ranked correlation lists were examined and evaluated. For copper-jacketed bullet correlations, both IBIS and BulletTRAX-3D identified all reference samples to their known matches within the top 10 positions. For lead bullets, BulletTRAX-3D identified all reference samples to their known match in the top 10 positions while IBIS identified only 30%. For inter composition comparisons, BulletTRAX-3D was more successful than IBIS, identifying 100% of reference samples to their known match in the top 20 for copper-jacketed to lead comparisons and 90% for lead to copper-jacketed comparisons. These results suggest that BulletTRAX-3D is more effective than IBIS in the analysis of a wider range of bullet types and it was also found to produce images of superior quality.  相似文献

A method to reliably distinguish menstrual blood from blood in the normal circulation (peripheral blood) would be of considerable use in the forensic analysis and interpretation of evidence in sexual offence investigations. Previous attempts to address this issue have explored microscopy, lactate dehydrogenase isozyme identification, mRNA and miRNA profiling, and identification of the products of fibrinolysis. Here, four assays for D-dimer, a terminal degradation product of fibrinolysis, are evaluated for their specificity and sensitivity in detection of menstrual blood. In addition the effect of exercise, and sample storage upon D-dimer detection was investigated. Comparison of different assays revealed significant differences in results given. Nevertheless, no positive results for D-dimer were obtained using peripheral blood, mixtures of peripheral blood with semen, or peripheral blood taken from donors after moderate exercise. D-dimer was found to be detectable in 100% of menstrual blood samples after 1 week at room temperature and also in samples stored long-term (>3 years) at -20 °C. D-dimer may be an effective, simple to use tool for the presumptive identification of menstrual blood identification.  相似文献

Simple, reliable procedures for the assay of pepsin and rennin-like enzyme activities are described as a means of identifying gastric fluid-containing samples in forensic science laboratories. These samples are usually vomitus, or stomach contents originating from wounds that perforate the stomach. They may be encountered at scenes or on articles submitted for examination, in fresh form or as dried stains. The pepsin activity assay is based on proteolytic activity with bovine albumin as substrate and the rennin-like activity assay is based on the coagulation of milk protein.  相似文献

Identification of body fluid stains can bring important information to crime case. Recent research in epigenome indicates that tissue-specific differentially methylated regions (tDMRs) show different DNA methylation profiles according to the type of cell or tissue, which makes it possible to identify body fluid based on analysis of DNA. This study screened and identified tDMRs from genome for forensic purpose. DNA samples from blood, saliva, semen, and vaginal fluid were analyzed by methylation sensitive represent difference analysis and Sequenom Massarray® quantitative analysis of methylation. Six blood-specific tDMRs were obtained. Two tDMRs display blood-specific hypomethylation, and four tDMRs show blood-specific hypermethylation. These tDMRs may discriminate blood stain from other body fluids. The result indicated that tDMRs could become potential DNA markers for body fluid identification.  相似文献

A study of the chemical contents and sizes of gunshot residue originating from 9×18mm PM ammunition, depositing in the vicinity of the shooting person was performed by means of scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive X-ray spectrometry. Samples of the residue were collected from targets placed at various distances in the range 0-100cm as well as from hands and clothing of the shooting person. Targets were covered by fragments of white cotton fabric or black bovine leather. In the case of cotton targets microtraces were collected from circles of 5 and 10cm in radius. Results of the examinations in the form of numbers of particles, proportions of their chemical classes and dimensions revealed a dependence on the distance from the gun muzzle, both in the direction of shooting and in the opposite one, i.e., on the shooting person. The parameters describing gunshot residue differed also depending on the kind of the target substrate. The kind of obtained information gives rise to understanding the general rules of the dispersion of gunshot residue in the surroundings of the shooting gun. Thus, it may be utilised in the reconstruction of shooting incidences, especially in establishing the mutual positions of the shooter and other participants of the incident.  相似文献

An ELISA method for the detection of salivary amylase in dried stains using a monoclonal anti-human salivary amylase antibody was developed. Studies demonstrated the assay to be sensitive down to 0.0002 Sigma units and showed a linear response between absorbance and salivary amylase activity between 0.002 and 0.2 units. The assay showed no cross reactivity with either commercially purchased human pancreatic or bacterial amylase. Sample studies utilizing swabs from several human body fluids showed that 100% of all saliva containing swabs (sixteen of sixteen) and 13% of non-saliva human body fluid swabs (eight of sixty-three) showed a net absorbance with the method. Of these eight non-saliva swabs yielding a net absorbance, none exceeded a salivary amylase activity of 0.003 units. In contrast, only three of the sixteen saliva-containing swabs (swabs produced from saliva diluted 1:5, 1:6, and 1:10, respectively) showed an activity below 0.2 units. Of these swabs, the 1:100 dilution showed the lowest activity (0.048). This value is still more than ten times that of the non-saliva containing swab with the highest activity.  相似文献
