《元照英美法词典》勘误补遗录

<正> 法律出版社2003年5月初版的《元照英美法词典》,颇受欢迎,以之为堪与Black’s法律词典媲美——盖据传该词典乃以Blak’s所编的Law Dictionary(6th Edition)为蓝本者也。 我为形势所逼,趁今夏濡暑,名副其实地汗流浃背、赤膊上阵,以六尺耄耋之躯勉为其难,现就初步浏览所得,试为之勘误补遗,以求正于大方也。 一、6版Black’s漏了“regulations”一目(但有"regulation"一目而已),《元照》亦步其后尘。然今之英美法词典中,“regulations"一语非但没漏,且有单独自成一目者,如:
