Current status and prospects for developing chemical-toxicological (forensic chemical) studies in the Russian Federation

The authors discuss modern state and prospects of planning and carrying out research in forensic (toxicological) chemistry within the framework of practical forensic medical expert evaluation, state of forensic medical expert evaluation of alcohol and narcotic intoxication, and other pressing problems of forensic medical expert practice.

脑功能磁共振成像是近年来磁共振成像技术的一项新发展。它不仅能清晰、准确地显示脑组织的解剖和病理改变,还能同时观察到脑皮层功能活动时的信息,可无创、实时地对大脑的功能活动进行成像。为法医学领域中所涉及的人体损伤程度鉴定和伤残等级评估以及对法医精神病领域中认知功能的界定,从单一形态学研究到形态与功能相结合的系统研究开辟了一条崭新的道路。本文就人脑的功能活动磁共振成像的概念、原理、优势、临床研究状况及法医学应用前景进行综述。

铊中毒的法医毒理学研究进展

由于铊盐溶液无色无味,且毒性剧烈,所以近年来利用铊盐投毒的案例时有报道。利用铊盐投毒隐匿性强,给案件的侦破带来很大难度,同时也因诊断不及时而耽误治疗。本文结合文献,从中毒方式、毒代动力学、毒理作用、中毒症状、中毒致死量、尸体检查所见、法医学鉴定及鉴别诊断等方面,对铊中毒的法医毒理学研究进展进行综述。     

Geographic forensic medicine and forensic sciences

The necessity of learning more about the criminality and the culture of persons from overseas is upon us. As forensic scientists, we have to take a lead in presenting information to our colleagues that would facilitate their investigations. In this paper, we look at many of the different cultures that have been presented to American authorities, and the activities of the Milton Helpern International Center for the Forensic Sciences are discussed.     

Status and prospects of developing the Forensic Medical Service in the Russian Federation

Forensic medical service is constantly updated, which is confirmed by introduction of new modern methods, such as detection of blood or semen with test strips, new modifications of methods for handling bone material, differentiation of blood of the same group within ABO system, identification of blood groups in mixed stains of blood of humans and some animals, use of gel plates, etc. Methodological and information letters have been issued and field seminars are regularly carried for upgrading expert biologists. The overwhelming majority of expert biologists have received specialized education and topical upgrading.     

Standardization in forensic medicine

It is for the first time that an issue is raised on the need to introduce a system of standardization into the forensic medical field. A general scheme is suggested of how to do it.     

MVR-PCR及其法医学的应用

小卫星可变重复单位作图(MinisatelliteVariantRepeatmapping,MVRmapping)是近十年发展起来的一项DNA分析技术。本综述对该技术的分子学基础、发展过程及其在法医学的应用作了系统的阐述。认为该技术在个人识别与亲子鉴定方面发挥着为其它DNA分析技术所不可替代的作用,正在成为法医学生物检材检验的重要手段之一。
