将经典Snake模型与自适应变模型相结合的算法,快速提取图像中的开边缘并识别边缘形状,实现赤足足迹跖后缘的自动提取与形状识别。首先,对原图像校正、平滑去噪,由数学形态学方法得到Snake模型的初始轮廓,迭代求解实现跖后缘的快速、精确提取。然后,由高次多项式进行数字滤波,再对滤波后的边缘曲线,利用先验知识,依据平均曲率的变化,自适应地选取不同的函数模型,提取出相应特征,自动识别边缘形状。该方法边缘提取准确,特征提取合理,使计算机总体识别率达到90%。  相似文献

Positive identification relies on comparison of antemortem and postmortem data. Some identifications are based on morphological features such as fracture, pathological condition, and surgical hardware, despite little literature indicating the frequencies of such traits. This study examines whether such features are sufficiently rare as to be deemed individualizing. Data were collected on two modern North American skeletal collections (N=482 individuals). Presence/absence of features was scored by skeletal element and side. Results indicate that frequencies vary by geographic region (higher frequency of fractures and pathological conditions in New Mexico while individuals in Tennessee were more likely to have surgical interventions), many features such as fractures are remarkably common and that even suites of traits may not be individualizing. Caution is warranted when using written data rather than radiographic comparisons as the primary source of identification. The implications of these findings to missing person databases are also discussed.  相似文献

目的探讨分析腰椎骶化和骶椎腰化时腰椎如何定位及在法医学鉴定中的注意事项,为规范法医鉴定提供参考。方法回顾性分析16例有腰椎骶化或骶椎腰化的被鉴定人,结合其病因、临床表现探讨与外伤的关系,以及如何准确定位椎体。结果6例为腰椎骶化,10例为骶椎腰化,多有不同程度的腰腿痛。结论腰椎骶化和骶椎腰化是先天性脊柱畸形,是腰腿痛的常见病因,与外伤无因果关系,法医学鉴定时应该足够重视,准确定位。  相似文献

Identification of body fluid stains can bring important information to crime case. Recent research in epigenome indicates that tissue-specific differentially methylated regions (tDMRs) show different DNA methylation profiles according to the type of cell or tissue, which makes it possible to identify body fluid based on analysis of DNA. This study screened and identified tDMRs from genome for forensic purpose. DNA samples from blood, saliva, semen, and vaginal fluid were analyzed by methylation sensitive represent difference analysis and Sequenom Massarray® quantitative analysis of methylation. Six blood-specific tDMRs were obtained. Two tDMRs display blood-specific hypomethylation, and four tDMRs show blood-specific hypermethylation. These tDMRs may discriminate blood stain from other body fluids. The result indicated that tDMRs could become potential DNA markers for body fluid identification.  相似文献

目的研究成体马和成年人的股骨组织形态学结构,分析其组织学特征,建立人与马之间的种属鉴别方法。方法取来源于尸体检验的成人右股骨中段约4cm,同时收集马的右腿股骨,取中段约4cm,脱钙后制作成厚约25μm的骨组织切片,在光学显微镜下观察,将显微镜下的图像录入电脑,选取25项指标进行逐步判别分析。结果马和人在哈氏系统数量、哈氏系统直径等13个指标上具有显著差异,用这些指标建立种属判别数学模型,经盲测检验,二者的判别率可达99.6%。结论马和人的股骨组织学结构具有明显的种属特征,建立的判别方程可以有效地鉴别马和人的股骨碎片。  相似文献

Dropout of the amelogenin Y-specific allele due to an interstitial deletion of the Yp involving the amelogenin Y locus (AMELY) can cause misidentification of sex genotype with potentially serious consequences in personal identification processes and criminal investigations. Inclusion of additional sex-defining markers in forensic DNA typing kits is therefore advisable. In this study, the co-amplification of the sex-determining region Y (SRY) gene and 16 STR loci included in the AmpFlSTR Identifiler PCR Amplification Kit was evaluated. Combination of SRY and Identifiler primers did not compromise the amplification outcome and generated a 90 bp male-specific SRY fragment, showing a reproducible peak height ratio in comparison with the AMELY peak. The SRY peak was detectable in presence of amounts of template DNA as low as 125 pg, and in mixed samples with a male/female DNA ratio of 1:100.  相似文献

目的通过对成年人、成体黄牛、马、家猪、山羊、绵羊、狗、猫、长毛兔、鹅、鸭、鸡共12个种属动物股骨组织形态学结构特征的研究,建立一个有效的各类动物间种属鉴别的方法。方法在征得家属同意后,在尸检中取成人(20岁以上)右股骨中段约4cm,同时,收集黄牛、马、家猪、山羊、绵羊、狗、猫、长毛兔、鹅、鸭、鸡共11种常见动物右腿股骨,取中段约4cm,脱钙后制作成骨组织切片,在光学显微镜下观察,将显微镜下的图像录入电脑,选取24个指标进行分析。结果人与其他动物、以及各被检动物之间在骨单位数量等13个指标上具有显著差异,用这些指标建立种属判别数学模型,结果这些动物之间的判别率也可达89.4%。结论股骨中段骨密质的组织学结构具有明显的种属特征,且骨单位形态和数量呈现明显的生物进化趋势。根据这些特征可以有效地进行种属鉴别。  相似文献

目的探讨颅顶缝应用于个体识别的可能性。方法观察和分析30例中国成年人颅骨及颅顶矢状缝。结果中国成年人颅顶矢状缝长度为109-136mm,与年龄、性别无关,顶孔出现率为80%,其中40%呈不对称性分布。结论颅项矢状缝具有个体识别的生物学特征;本文提出的颅顶矢状缝的观测方法简单易行。  相似文献

The true incidence of anaphylactic latex reactions and their associated morbidity and mortality remain poorly defined. It is noteworthy that a number of groups of individuals are at risk for anaphylactic reactions to latex during surgical and medical procedures; one of these groups is represented by the obstetric and gynaecologic population. A case of unrecognized first anaphylactic reaction to latex in a pregnant woman patient who underwent a caesarean section is presented. The diagnosis of latex allergy was missed and the following day the woman underwent a surgical re-exploration complicated by fatal cardiovascular arrest. At post-mortem examination, pulmonary mast cells in the bronchial walls and capillary septa were identified and a great number of degranulating mast cells with tryptase-positive material outside the cells was documented. A post-mortem latex-specific IgE test showed a high titre (14.00 U/I). Latex-induced fatal anaphylactic shock was recorded as the cause of death. This case highlights some of the practical difficulties in the initial diagnosis and subsequent investigation of fatal anaphylactic reaction during anaesthesia. Anaphylaxis is often misdiagnosed because many other pathologic conditions may present identical clinical manifestations, so anaphylactic shock must be differentiated from other causes of circulatory collapse. Although latex allergy usually has a delayed onset after the start of the surgery and most often a slow onset too, it should be always suspected if circulatory collapse and respiratory failure occur during surgery, even if the patient does not belong to a risk group; in the presence of identified risk factors for latex allergy a well-founded suspicion must be stronger, leading to an immediate discontinuation of the potential trigger.  相似文献

The measurement of the sound by the shock wave and the analysis of the natural frequencies were carried out for the authentic and five kinds of counterfeit 500-yen coins for the purpose of the quick and simple discrimination. Four peaks of natural frequencies were observed in the range of 5–20 kHz for authentic coins. On the other hand, only three peaks were observed for some kinds of the counterfeit coins. Four peaks were observed for other counterfeit coins, however the peaks were slightly shifted compared to those for authentic coins. These results show that the discrimination of the counterfeit coins from authentic ones can be realized by the examination of the natural frequencies. This method is quite useful for the simple screening of authentic and counterfeit coins.  相似文献

Messenger RNA profiling is a useful confirmatory test for body fluid identification, but there are limitations to this method including sensitivity and the difficulty in linking body fluids with the corresponding DNA profile in mixed samples. We have developed a method for RNA suspension fluorescence in situ hybridisation (RNA S-FISH) for forensic-type samples using locked nucleic acid (LNA) probes. Vaginal and buccal epithelial cells have been the primary focus, with some preliminary work performed on leucocytes and seminal round cells. We have designed probes for the KRT10 messenger RNA and the micro RNA 891a. Using these probes, we have optimised a RNA S-FISH methodology and have successfully visualised these cell types using fluorescent microscopy.  相似文献

The objectives of this study were to develop and optimize a multiplex of three skin specific gene markers; loricrin (LOR), corneodesmosin (CDSN) and keratin 9 (KRT9) and 1 house-keeping marker, β-actin (ACTB) using an endpoint PCR assay to analyze expression data from a range of relevant samples. Marker specificity and suitability were evaluated for their inclusion in future forensic casework. The presence of the three skin mRNA markers was successfully confirmed from swabs of human skin obtained from 20 individuals at each of 6 different body sites (forehead, neck, arm, palm, leg and sole). Significant variation was observed in the relative expression of the three genes across the body sites, with some individuals consistently failing to express one or more of the targets. Inter-individual variation was also evident. Accordingly, these markers must be used with caution in the identification of skin in forensic samples.  相似文献

Recent challenges have brought the discipline of firearms and tool mark identification to the forefront in recent court cases. This article reviews those challenges and offers substantial support for the scientific foundations of the firearms and tool mark identification discipline. A careful review of the available literature has revealed that firearms and tool mark identification is rooted in firm scientific foundations, critically studied according to the precepts of the scientific method culminating in the Association of Firearms and Toolmark Examiners' Theory of Identification. Firearms and tool mark identification has been validated in a manner appropriate for evidence of the kind to be expected in firearms and tool mark examinations. Proficiency tests and error rates have been studied and can provide consumers of the disciple with a useful guide as to the frequency with which misidentifications are reported in the community using appropriate methodologies and controls. As a result, the primary issues in recent challenges do not invalidate the firearms and tool mark discipline as a science nor should it detract it from its admissibility in a court of law.  相似文献

Surgically implanted devices have become increasingly common in modern skeletal material. Therefore, having the knowledge of the variety of implanted orthopedic devices, their manufacturer, and where to find and how to use identifying numbers in such implants can assist in the identification process when traditional methods are not applicable. Orthopedic device manufacturers are required by the Safe Medical Devices Act of 1990 and the FDA Modernization Act of 1997 to track permanently implanted devices. Manufacturer information on orthopedic devices associates the orthopedic surgeon who implanted the device with the patient. By providing a current list of the most common orthopedic device manufacturers in the U.S.A. and the associated contact information, investigators will have updated tools for the individuation process. Despite numerous complicating factors regarding how device data are tracked, the information presented here can assist forensic professionals with obtaining presumptive and/or positive identifications.  相似文献

目的建立针对体液特异性miRNA的SYBR Green检测方法,用于体液鉴定,探究法医实践中体液鉴定新方法。方法根据文献选出6条miRNAs为靶点,以合成的标准miRNA作为模板进行体系构建,再对实际样本进行验证,检测6条miRNAs在外周血、月经血、唾液、精液中的相对表达量。结果 miRNAs205在不同体液间表达差异不明显;miRNAs451、miRNAs144可明显的区分血与非血;miRNAs214可鉴定月经血;miRNAs888、miRNAs891在精液中高表达。结论建立的针对miRNAs的SYBR Green检测方法合理有效,可用于法医实践中体液鉴定。  相似文献

目的根据腭皱的形态图特征,进行口腔腭皱在法医学同一认定的指标体系构建。方法收集100例成年人腭皱模型,依据腭皱的形状、数量、位置分布等特征对腭皱形态图进行全面系统的编码。编码顺序采用英文字母按照先右侧再左侧,先前部再后部的顺序编码,并且右、左侧编码以破折号连接。最后依据编码,统计分析腭皱形态分布特征。结果 100例腭皱形态图中,个体间未见完全一致者,每个个体不论男性与女性均表现有独特的腭皱形态图;且同一个体左右侧单条腭皱的形态及分布亦不同。波浪形腭皱所占比例最大(23.03%),三分叉形出现比例最小(0.74%),不同性别的波浪形及曲线形腭皱所占比例均较大,女性波浪形(22.7%)及曲线形(18.28%);男性波浪形(24.11%)及曲线形(21.43%)。结论口腔腭皱法医学同一认定的指标体系构建,将为法医学的同一认定提供一种新的方法。  相似文献

目的以线粒体DNA为目标序列,探讨生物检材的种属来源问题。方法复合扩增线粒体DNA细胞色素b基因(Cb)片段和D-环HVI上人源特异性DNA片段,2%琼脂糖凝胶电泳检测复合扩增产物谱带;用常规测序技术获得种属来源不明的检材Cytb基因序列,登陆美国国家生物信息中心网站主页(http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov),将Cytb序列的测序结果用BLAST2.2.9[2004.5.1]进行匹配查询,查询数据库中存在的与其相匹配的物种条目。结果检材经复合扩增后电泳检测可区分人源性检材和非人源性检材;用生物信息法可确定检材种属来源结论检测线粒体DNA细胞色素b基因和D-环HVI的有关序列可在DNA分子水平上鉴别人源性检材和非人源性检材,结合测序的分子生物信息学方法,可对检材进行种属鉴定。  相似文献
