灾后日元升值初探

短期来看,日元汇率没有因经济受到巨大损失而贬值却转向迅速升值在于投资者形成"保险机构或企业资金的资金回流"的预期,投机力量就借助这个题材不断的推升日元。长期来看,这一轮日元升值并不是因贸易摩擦、美国压迫日本的结果,而是与金融危机过程中动荡的国际货币体系有关。日元在国际货币体系内主要执行价值贮藏的功能,而其贸易结算功能相对较弱。日元快速升值的根本原因是日元在估值上存在升值压力,以及日元发挥避险货币和套利交易的作用。中日两国都面临着美元贬值的巨大风险,可采取相互增持对方货币资产的方法,逐渐减少降低外汇储备中美元的比例,建立区域汇率稳定性机制。     

日本企业应对日元升值的策略研究

从20世纪70年代末到90年代中旬的近30年中,日本经历了4次汇率剧烈波动的冲击,但事实上,日本的贸易顺差却不但没有下降,反而继续增加,其背后的原因是20世纪70年代以来,日本企业为了应对日元升值,采取了多种形式的措施,调整产品结构、转向海外生产、海外并购、开展外包业务、加强产品质量管理、降低成本,以应对日元升值的压力。     

透视美国压人民币升值的玄机

美国最新一轮施压人民币升值,国会与行政当局一起发力,可谓来势汹汹。美方有人提出中国必须在规定的时间(6个月内)、按规定的幅度(至少10%)来调整人民币汇率,否则就将中国列入“指定名单”,在贸易方面做出报复行动,对进口的中国产品加征27.5%的惩罚性关税。这近乎是“最后通牒”。     

日元升值与日本对外贸易政策调整的绩效分析

198 5年以来 ,日元兑美元汇率升值幅度相当大 ,对日元升值与日本对外贸易变化之间的关系进行实证分析的结果表明 ,在日元升值期间 ,日本的出口贸易依然保持了较高的增长速度 ,进口增长却不像预期的那样快。产生这一现象的主要原因在于日本政府采取的一系列政策措施抵消了日元升值的不利影响。对于正面临着人民币升值压力的我国来说 ,应及早采取措施 ,预防可能出现的汇率波动冲击。

<媚珠-仲始>是越南流传广泛、影响深远的民间传说,在<岭南摭怪>中它属于<金龟传>中的一部分.越南学者认为,<金龟传>实际上书写的是安阳王的成败史,前半段写西瓯越部落首领蜀泮秉承祖父遗愿出兵战胜雄王,建立瓯雒国并自立为安阳王,在清江使者金龟的帮助下斩除妖魔,建成螺城的故事;后半段写安阳王与赵佗交战,赵佗设计让儿子仲始入赘瓯雒国,最终盗得神弩,打败安阳王的故事.     

Pakistan: An Unsettled Nation

Pakistan faces many problems. The struggle over the country's Islamic dimension is undecided. Pakistan continues to be a hotbed of Islamic fervor. As evidenced by the frequent interruptions of civilian rule by military regimes the country is not sure which course to follow. Violence has become Pakistan's trademark. The jihadi culture is frightening. Poverty and underdevelopment are wide spread. The educational system is a mess. Integration of the different ethnicities has not been completed. Enmity characterizes the relationship to India, mistrust that to Afghanistan. Its nuclear weapons capability is looked upon with suspicion by Western countries. Fundamental changes will only be possible if Pakistan finds its way to democracy.     

Conservative Internationalism: An Overview

This introductory essay seeks to historicize the term “conservative internationalism.” It examines how interpretations evolved over the past century and identifies key figures who espoused distinctively conservative visions of America's role in the world. The majority share a number of common traits: a fervent commitment to guarding national sovereignty against excessive supranational infringement, dedication to maintaining a strong military, trust in the efficacy of American power, a realist appreciation of the need to go to war and concern for order and stability at home and abroad. Yet there are also important differences over the purpose of American power.     

美国压人民币升值的意图、前景及对策

中期选举前后,美国政府和国会集中向中国政府施压,人民币升值压力加大,自9月份以来升值幅度达2％以上。10月15日,美国政府再次推迟公布主要贸易国经济和汇率政策情况报告,暂时缓解了中国被列为“汇率操纵国”之忧,但人民币升值压力并未得到缓解。当前人民币无大幅升值基础,且人民币升值对中国经济危害巨大,因而应在当前国内外经济形势还十分复杂的情况下,继续维持人民币汇率的相对稳定,并采取具体措施缓解当前日益增大的人民币升值压力。     

Globalization: An Ascendant Paradigm?

International Studies is on the cusp of a debate between para-keepers , observers who are steadfast about maintaining the prevailing paradigms and deny that globalization offers a fresh way of thinking about the world, and para-makers , who bring into question what they regard as outmoded categories and claim to have shifted to an innovatory paradigm. This distinction is a heuristic that allows for various gradations and dynamic interactions between the keepers and the makers. It helps to identify anomalies in and discomfort with International Studies. Partly as a response to these problems, globalization studies has evolved and may be tentatively delimited by a distinct set of characteristics. But, in the near term, there is no looming Kuhnian crisis in the sense of an impending overthrow that would quickly sweep away reigning paradigms. Given that systematic research on globalization is only slightly more than a decade in the making, it is most likely that International Studies has entered an interregnum between the old and the new. At this time, as a paradigm, globalization is more of a potential than a worked-out framework. It may be best understood as a proto-paradigm.
