The Work of Memory: embodiment,materiality and home in Jeanne Bouvier's autobiographical writings

In this paper I follow trails in the memory of work by reading the books and papers of Jeanne Bouvier, a French seamstress, ardent trade-unionist and passionate writer, who left a rich body of labour literature including four published historical studies, as well as the memoirs of her life, work and struggles. Work, action and creativity are three interrelated planes on which Bouvier situates herself, while memory and imagination are interwoven in the way she seeks to understand herself in the world with others. What emerges as a particularly striking theme from Bouvier's papers is a material matrix of mnemonic and imaginary practices, wherein bodies, places and objects are entangled in the narrative constitution of the self of the woman worker/writer.

劳动是人获得生活资料得以生存的重要手段,但不是最终目的。劳动的最终目的是人通过劳动自我证实、自我实现,从而获得幸福和自由全面发展。要想通过劳动使人获得自由全面发展,健康安全体面人性化的工作环境是一个重要因素。工作环境的不安全、不健康将会导致工伤和职业病的大量发生。工作环境人性化设计包括利用色彩调节企业工作环境;利用音乐调节情绪、缓解疲劳;利用人机工程学原理使工作间设计、机器设计更有利于人的工作;工作制度安排人性化;工作场所相关辅助设施设置人性化等等。     

"体面的劳动"

在经济全球化的背景下,国际劳工组织在1999年第87届年会上提出了"体面的劳动"的概念,认为其意义在于:它是一项反映了全体人民共同愿望的目标,提供了一个政策框架,也是组织计划和活动的一种方法,为外部对话和伙伴关系提供了一个讲坛."体面的劳动"的提出与全球化背景下的社会正义相关.由于发达国家与发展中国家的发展水平不同,经济全球化对各国产生的影响和带来的利益不尽相同.如何在追求"体面的劳动"目标的同时,保护发展中国家及这些国家工人的利益,这是需要考虑的一个现实问题.     

Memory Work Reconsidered

In this article we discuss the epistemological status of the knowledge and understandings that a specific way of working with women's experiences—memory work—generates. This discussion is held in the light of the last decades' feminist debate on the risks and problems inherent in research taking women's experience as a point of departure. We put forward memory work as a fruitful method of working scientifically with experiences, especially when it comes to understanding deeply naturalized power structures such as gender, nation, and sexuality. We show how different interpretative modes and practices in memory work may help us locate ruptures and ambivalences in the already known, and open up for understandings and interpretations that take us beyond the discursively given. However, several epistemological as well as methodological issues need to be addressed in order for memory work to render possible new forms of understanding that reach beyond established discourses and concepts. To avoid the much‐debated risk of essentialism and reproduction of different power structures, we argue that a great deal of reflection is required when elaborating research techniques. It is thereby necessary to carefully design the different steps in the process of memory work. This article shows how different ways of handling methodological problems in memory work—concerning foremost the choice of theme for the memory project, the textual practices used when writing memory stories, and the modes of interpretation employed—are crucial for what kind of analysis is made possible. We also highlight the importance of displacing the research problem at a certain distance from the theme of the project. The concepts of transferring and dislocating the research problem are introduced as a means to elucidate how different types of displacement generate different research results.

工会系统发展企业社会工作的意义及其方向

社会工作是企业工会工作的重要组成部分,在西方发达国家的劳工服务中扮演着不可替代的角色,具有解决劳工及其家属问题、处理劳资纠纷,促进劳动福利政策,以及构建和谐企业等多种功能。我国企业社会工作的发展尚处于起步阶段,还有诸多需要努力的方面.包括完善相关社会政策、开展有效服务项目、提高服务质量、修正教育模式以及探索中国特色等。     

关于制造业工会工作的调研与思考

朝阳区制造业工会2013年成立后,为夯实工作基础,全面了解基层企业工会组织工作现状,探索促进制造业工会工作健康发展的新路子,对行业所辖44家基层企业工会进行逐一实地走访,围绕企业状况、工会组织建设、民主管理、职工权益维护和技术创新、文体活动及职工需求等工会重点工作内容进行了专题调研,获得了大量一手信息与数据,发现了制造企业工会存在的普遍问题,并对破解问题进行了思考.     

数字经济与未来的工作

我国经济发展处于新旧动能交替期,一方面以大数据、信息技术和人工智能为动能的数字经济持续上行,另一方面以劳动力和资源要素为驱动的传统经济缓慢下行。而我国新增就业数量还依然有所上升。即使存在统计性问题,这一现象仍说明技术进步对就业的影响已经发生转变,这种转变可能来自数字经济发展缓冲了传统经济下行期的失业风险,也可能来自未来的工作内容与工作方式的转变。为此,本文沿着相关文献的路径,结合此次数字化特征对技术进步影响工作岗位的机制进行分析,探究数字经济与未来工作的可能,在此基础上提出未来劳动力市场可能面临的风险,并提出包容性治理的政策建议。
