Two days later the Chinese Ministry of Commerce （MOC） responded by launching antidumping and anti-subsidy investigations on some American auto and chicken products. On October 30 the U.S. International Trade Commission （ITC） reached affirmative threat determinations on China-made seamless steel pipes, giving the Department of Commerce the go ahead to continue its antidumping and countervailing duty investigations on these imports.
