中国国际交流协会简介

中国国际交流协会（简称交流协会）成立于1981年9月，由中国各团体、政党以及各界知名人士、社会活动家和学者发起组成，以增进中国人民同世界各国人民之间的相互了解与友好合作，维护世界和平，促进共同发展为宗旨．本着“让世界了解中国，让中国了解世界”的目的，对外积极而广泛地开展民间交流与对话活动。

Brief Introduction of the Chinese Association for International Understanding（CAFIU）

Founded in September 1981, the Chinese Association for International Understanding （CAFIU） is sponsored by and composed of political parties, social organizations, prominent personages, scholars and social activists from all walks of life in China. CAFIU, aiming at enhancing mutual understanding and friendship between China and other countries, safeguarding world peace and promoting common development, has been carrying out active and wide-ranging international non-governmental exchanges and dialogues in the hope to ＂Let the world understand China, and let China understand the world＂.     

中国民间组织代表团参加第七届世界社会论坛

2007年1月20-25日，中国民间组织国际交流促进会、中国联合国协会、中国人民争取和平与裁军协会、中国国际交流协会、中国当代世界研究中心、中非商会共11人组成中国民间组织代表团参加了在肯尼亚内罗毕举行的第七届世界社会论坛。     

China＇s Relations with Africa： Building a Harmonious World

The Sino-African relationship is one of the most important inter-continental relationships in the world. It is unique both in its origin and evolution and plays an important role on the world stage. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations in the mid-1950s, traditional, friendly and cooperative relations between China and African countries have developed rapidly, reaching an historic high in 2000 when both sides proclaimed the establishment of a new type of strategic partnership. Transcending Western traditional value and logic of thinking, such as the supremacy of international interests and power control, Sino-African relations have created a new model in international relations, featuring equality, peaceful coexistence and friendly cooperation. This promotes African development and the democratization process in both international relations and the global community. From China＇s perspective, it spreads China＇s idea of harmonious culture and harmonious diplomacy, thus promoting world peace and development, and contributing towards building a harmonious world.     

卡拉奇世界社会论坛掠影

三月的卡拉奇阳光明媚，气候宜人。24—29日，第六届世界社会论坛亚洲分会在这里隆重举行。这是世界社会论坛自诞生以来，首次尝试多中心、分区域举行的方式，目的是使散居于世界各地的“草根”民间组织和反全球化人士有机会更加广泛地参与论坛活动。此前，本届社会论坛的非洲、美洲分会已于今年一月分别在马里和委内瑞拉召开。本次卡拉奇分会仍以“另一个世界是可能的”这一著名口号为主题，来自20多个国家的5000余名代表与会，除巴基斯坦国内团体和当地民众以外，外国代表主要来自南亚国家。中国民间组织国际交流促进会、中国国际交流协会、中国人民争取和平与裁军协会、中国联合国协会、中华环保联合会以及中国西藏文化保护与发展协会等中国民间组织的代表参加了本次亚洲分会。     

试论中国与东盟地区女性文化的交流与发展

自中国与东盟建立对话关系以来,各国在政治、经贸、安全、社会文化以及民间交往等各领域开展了深入的交流与合作。其中,各国的妇女们以其聪慧善良、勤劳坚忍、温良恭俭、含辛茹苦、温文尔雅及柔情似水等优秀品德,为维护亚洲地区的和平、稳定与繁荣作出了重要贡献。
