（ 1 ） The Principal-Agent Mechanism in Regional Public Affairs Governance -A Case Study of The Asian Development Bank LIU Xing-hong. 1 ： Abstract： The paper aims at examining a professional regional governance institution, the Asian Development Bank（ADB） how to participate in regional public affairs governance and form a particular governance model （the ADB Model） under the principal-agent mechanism, and what advantages the model posses compared with the state-domina- ting governance model. The paper holds that the ADB Model not only provides a constructive governance mechanism, but implies the possibility and necessity of Asian social integration. In the past few centuries, the Islamic revival movement has been widely spreading in the world. Over the past dec- ades, the Islamic revival trends and movement in the Middle East and other regions can be roughly divided into conservative, moderate and radical factions. The radicals are advocating implementing religious extremism. The modern Muslim extremists and their terrorist activities have not only been undermining the international security, but also posing a great threat to China＇ s national security. To cope with the threat of terrorism, the international community should not only make military strikes, but also take action on the ideological level. 1.Building a Diplomatic Theorectical System with Chinese Characteristi by Professor Xia Liping, Dean, College of Politics and International Relations, Tongji University, Shanghai, and a Ph.D. tutor. Since the founding of New China, its diplomacy has undergone three historical stages： one, putting particular attention to reveal the aggressive nature and policies of the imperialists and superpower; two, shifting the stress onto gaining a long-term peaceful international environment for the realization of the four modernizations; three, comprehensively merging with the international community for realizing a ＂harmonious world＂. The mission entrusted to us by the times is： to sum up experiences and lessons in the studies of international relations and diplomatic theories during the past 60 years since the founding of New China and to absorb the best of the Chinese traditional culture and the excellent achievements of the Western international relations and diplomatic theories, so as to set up a mode of international relations theory with Chinese characteristics.

ISIS： The Backbone of International Terrorist Forces Since June 2014, the extremist terrorist group known as the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant （ISIL or ISIS） has expanded quickly and seized significant territory in Iraq and Syria. It not only threatens the very existence of the Iraqi government, but also has changed the nature of the Syria conflict, and its influence is spilling over outside of the region.     

Impact of Financial Crisis on Japanese Economy and Japanese Government＇s Related Policies

Under the impact of the financial crisis, the growth of the Japanese economy began to slow down from the end of 2007. To cope with the crisis, the Japanese government put forward large-scale economic stimulus plans with the emphasis on improving people＇s livelihood, expanding employment, propping up small and medium-sized enterprises （SMEs） and improving the environment. The plans have a dual role： on the one hand, they serve to deal with the current grim economic impact from the outside; on the other, they are aimed at seeking a solution to the inherent and long-term internal contradictions in the economic structure.     

Views of China and Europe on the New Order of the World

The 7^th Sino-German Security Dialogue Seminar is focused on ＂China, Europe and a new world order＂. Our discussions should include the world order in general, as well as in-depth exchanges on specific issues in the area of international relations that both countries deem important. I want to get to the point directly by stating a basic point： although many factors in the international politics continue to change, as old challenges still exist and new challenges keep cropping up, there still remains a cornerstone for the world order, which is the Unites Nations.
