2002年3月大事各方有如下评述: 一、美国《核态势评估》报告震惊世界。9日,《洛杉矶时报》和《纽约时报》等媒体先后披露美国防部应总统指示和国会要求而撰写的《核态势评估》秘密报告的内容,重点分析世界核武态势,阐明美当前核战略并提出政策调整建议。报告提出:在非核武器的进攻受阻、报复核生化武器攻击以及“军事局势发生剧变”(包括伊拉克攻击以色列或其邻国、朝鲜攻击韩国、在台湾地位问题上的军事对抗等)三种情况下,五角大楼准备对中国、俄罗斯、伊拉克、朝鲜、伊朗、利比亚和叙利亚等7国使用核武器。此事一经披露便引起世界舆论和国际社会严重关注。     

国际形势回顾与展望

2006年,国际格局调整加快,世界热点问题升温,大国协调进一步展开,中国外交硕果累累。2007年,世界将进入深度调整,国际形势总体趋向缓和,但局部紧张可能加剧,尤其是伊朗核问题有可能升级,中国外交则在面对新机遇的同时有可能遭遇更复杂的挑战。鉴此,《现代国际关系》编辑部于2007年1月6日举办“2007年国际大势前瞻”研讨会,特别邀请30多位京内外专家学者在总结、回顾2006年国际形势的基础上,着重对2007年国际形势及中国外交的变化趋势进行前瞻性分析。现将研讨会主要观点辑录如下,以期有助于读者更准确把握国际形势走向。

2002年2月大事各方有如下评述: (一)江泽民主席访问越南。27日,江主席应邀对越南进行正式友好访问,与越共总书记农德孟和越南国家主席陈德良举行会谈,双方就中越关系在新世纪的进一步发展以及共同关心的重大国际和地区问题深入交换意见,取得了广泛共识。双方一致认为,两国和两国人民要做好邻居、好朋友、好同志、好伙伴,互相信任,互相帮助,互谅互让,共同发展。

新加坡国情

新加坡共和国由新加坡岛和邻近的60个小岛组成,全国面积647.5平方公里,位于马来半岛最南端,北隔柔佛海峡与马来西亚相邻,南隔新加坡海峡与印尼苏门答腊相望,东临南海,西可经马六甲海峡通往印度洋,地理位置优越,是太平洋与印度洋往来的交通枢纽。新加坡地势低平,属热带海洋性气候,常年高温潮湿多雨,年平均气温24—28℃。
