The CICIR Forum 2011 International Symposium： A Summary

The CICIR Forum 2011 International Symposium was held between the 6th and the 11th of September 2011 at Hotel Nikko New Century in Beijing. The symposium’s theme was "China and Asia: Prospects for Mutual Development". Nearly 100 scholars took part, with representatives from the U.S., France, Russia, Japan, South Korea, Mongolia, Pakistan, India, Singapore, Myanmar, Vietnam, and Uzbekistan along with Chinese scholars and officials and academics from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the China Institute of International Studies, Tsinghua University, Renmin University, Fudan     

Asia Energy Cooperation Forum Held in Chongqing

正From June 27th to 28th,2016,Asia Energy Cooperation Forum was held in Chongqing.Present at the forum were highranking government officials from over ten countries in and outside the region such as China,Russia,South Korea,Mongolia,India,Pakistan,Iran,Malaysia,Myanmar,Kazakhstan,Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan,and experts from the International Energy Agency,Energy Charter,International Energy Forum and some enterprises and think tanks.     

Seminar on Media and NGOs in Public Diplomacy Held in Beijing

Impressions on South Africa National Civic Organization

South Africa National Civic Organization (Sanco) held its 4th National Conference from 12-13 December 2006 in Bloemfontein,the judicial capital of South Africa. There were more than 1000 delegates from 9 provinces to the Conference. The representatives of the Chinese Association for International Understanding (CAFIU) were invited to attend the Conference. During and after the conference,CAFIU representatives had extensive contacts and exchanges of views with the officials from the concerned government departments and Tripartite Alliance and scholars and experts from academic circles,thus having deepened their understanding of Sanco.     

Delegation of Union Solidarity and Development Association of Myanmar Visits China

At the invitation of Chinese Association for International Understanding （CAFIU）, an 8- member delegation of the Union Solidarity and Development Association of Myanmar （USDA）headed by Mr. U Than Htay, Member of the Central Executive Committee of the USDA and Vice Energy Minister of Myanmar, visited China from August 20 to 30.

"Brightness Action" Medical Service

正China Foundation for Peace and Development has organized medical service teams to operate cataract surgeries in many countries,including Myanmar,Mongolia,and Sudan.More than one thousand patients were benefited from the cataract surgeries.Additionally,four hospitals were set up in Myanmar,Cambodia,Mongolia,and other countries by CFPD along with donation of ambulances,training of medical staff,offer of medical services to villagers,and some other public-welfare activities.
