政治工作贯彻以人为本理念的范围、内容与方式

用以人为本的科学发展观来指导部队各项建设,必须对其工作范围、工作内容与工作方式进行明确的界定。工作范围上贯彻以人为本理念必须明确其是全面、长久和本质的以人为本;工作内容上贯彻以人为本理念必须厘清和摆正官兵个性和共性、官兵作为手段和作为目的、部队发展与官兵自身发展、部队发展与领导作风及态度的关系;工作方式上贯彻以人为本则要以官兵为根本,启发官兵的自觉性、以官兵为基本,调动官兵的积极性、以官兵为资本,激发官兵的创造性。     

Labor Migration,Gender, and the Rise of Neo-Local Marriages in the Economic Boomtown of Dongguan,South China

In the past two decades, migration has become a quintessential feature defining the identity and life experiences of millions of young rural women who have left their home villages and migrated to urban areas for wage labor in China. However, due to the combined effects of the state-instituted hukou system and women's traditional gender roles of childcare and household duties, many female migrants face difficult choices when it is time for them to get married. In this study I examine the rise of a new marriage form among migrant couples in Dongguan, a newly industrializing boomtown in the Pearl River Delta of Guangdong province. I call this marriage a neo-local marriage as migrant couples set up their post-marital residence in a destination locale that is thousands of miles away from their hometowns. I first describe some of the new features of neo-local marriages for young migrant couples in Dongguan. I then explore Dongguan's boomtown status in the new economy, the changing labor market, and young migrants' agency as new forces behind the rise of this new marriage form. Finally I discuss both the potential transformative power of a neo-local marriage for young female migrants and the risks and constraints of this marriage for them as well.     

董事忠实义务研究

本文从比较法的视角对董事的忠实义务进行了深入研究。作者认为两大法系尽管侧重点不同 ,实际上都十分强调董事对公司负有忠实义务。我国现行公司法在借鉴两大法系公司法的基础上 ,较为全面地规定了董事忠实义务的具体内容 ,但仍然存在着诸多疏漏 ,有待立法的进一步完善。     

Pedophile types and treatment perspectives

Pedophiles constitute a heterogeneous group of sex offenders. Direct physiological assessment of sexual arousal has significantly increased our diagnostic skill and capability of monitoring treatment response. Erectile response studies have indicated that the majority of pedophiles and incest offenders show arousal to other paraphilias and frequently to appropriate adult sexual stimuli. Many sexual offenders deny or minimize their problem during initial interviews, but when confronted with laboratory results indicating deviant sexual arousal, they often acknowledge and elaborate on the paraphilia(s). Complete data and diagnoses are crucial in integrating treatment in the cognitive-behavioral paradigm.     

徜徉在中日关系的春光里——福田首相访华后发展中日关系的几点思考

对于中日关系而言，2008年的春天既是寒暑交替的时令变化，更是政治意义上充满希望和播撒种子的季节。两国关系在过去一年半中经历了由“破冰”到“融冰”，及至“迎春”等数个旅程后，已经开始进入春花待放的佳期。按照两国政府的约定，胡锦涛主席将在樱花盛开的季节访问日本，本着中国人民对日本“和平共处，世代友好，互利合作，共同发展”的原则精神，去开辟中日关系充满希望的春天。     

Does Intimate Partner Violence Epidemiology Differ Between Homes With and Without Children? A Population-Based Study of Annual Prevalence and Associated Risk Factors

We sought to determine whether intimate partner violence (IPV) risk factors differed depending upon the presence of children in the home, and to estimate the annual prevalence of IPV first in the general population and then in homes with and without children. We analyzed data from a cross-sectional random sample of 6,836 women in southeastern Pennsylvania interviewed by telephone in 2004. The magnitude of association between IPV and risk factors varied between homes with and without children for women’s alcohol problems (with children, odds ratio (OR) 7.7; 95% confidence interval (CI) 2.9, 20.9; without children, OR 2.4; 95% CI 0.9, 6.0), and mental health problems (with children, OR 4.0; 95% CI 1.8, 8.9; without children, OR 3.0; 95% CI 1.6, 5.7). Poverty was significantly associated with IPV only in homes without children (OR 3.6; 95% CI 1.9, 7.2). Annual IPV prevalence was 1.2% overall, 1.4% in homes with children, and 1.1% in homes without children. One in 63 children lived in a home with IPV. Differences in IPV risk factors in homes with and without children suggest distinct underlying IPV mechanisms or consequences in these contexts.
