人民币汇率问题与中美经贸关系

从根本上说,人民币汇率问题缘起于迅速增长的美中贸易逆差。造成美中贸易逆差连年增长的深层原因是两个国家人均收入和储蓄率的巨大差异以及中国的过剩廉价劳动力。从中国的角度来说,巨额的中美贸易顺差使人民币汇率的调整问题陷入了一种三难困境。从中长期来看,由市场调节的浮动汇率制必然取代钉住美元的汇率制度。但最根本的问题还在于解决中美之间的贸易不平衡问题,这取决于中美双方的共同努力。
