Returning Home after Civil War: Food Security and Nutrition among Burundian Households

This paper investigates the food security and nutritional status of formerly displaced households (HHs). Using the 2006 Core Welfare Indicator Survey for Burundi we compare their food intake and their level of expenses with that of their non-displaced neighbours. We test whether it is the duration of displacement that matters for current food security and nutritional status or the time lapsed since returning home. We use log-linear as well as propensity score matching and an instrumental variable-approach to control for self-selection bias. We find that the individuals and HHs who returned home just before the time of the survey are worse off compared to those who returned several years earlier. On average, the formerly displaced have 5 per cent lower food expenses and 6 per cent lower calorie intake. Moreover, we find evidence in favour of duration of displacement as the main mechanisms through which displacement affects HH welfare. Results are robust after controlling for self-selection bias. Despite international, government and NGO assistance, the welfare of recent returnees is lagging seriously behind in comparison with the local non-displaced populations.

优化JX-2试剂组分显现胶带粘面汗潜手印研究

运用JX-2试剂对白色医用胶带和黑色电工胶带粘面汗潜手印进行显现试验表明,当JX-2试剂组分的最佳浓度(水平)为:JX-2荧光染料浓度为1%、饱和CSN溶液最佳用量为2mL、5%I2溶液最佳用量为20滴、异丁醇最佳用量为10滴,对白色医用胶带和黑色电工胶带粘面汗潜手印的显现效果最好。     

金融科技对金融稳定的影响及启示——以韩国金融科技发展动向与金融稳定风险评估为中心

本研究通过分析金融科技的主要特点、便捷性以及潜在风险、风险传染路径等,考察了韩国金融科技的发展动向与金融机构的应对举措,并在此基础上评估了韩国金融科技的金融稳定风险.韩国金融科技公司提供的代表性金融服务包括快捷支付与快捷转账、P2P金融、众筹基金、ICO、机器人投资顾问等.随着互联网银行在线业务量的持续增长,银行也面临各种金融创新.根据金融科技创新在金融机构多个领域进行的实际情况,金融机构通过采取与金融科技公司竞争或合作的方式进行应对.韩国金融科技公司提供服务的市场规模并不大,而且与现有金融机构的关联度也不是很高,所以对金融稳定产生的影响有限.虽然目前金融科技公司和金融机构之间的竞争存在一定程度的局限性,但是为发挥金融科技创新在提高效率、加大危机应对激励等方面的积极作用,有必要通过立法来确立监管沙箱制度,并建立有效的监管体系.     

Banking Union's accountability system in practice: A health check-up to Europe's financial heart

The Single Supervisory Mechanism (SSM) and Single Resolution Mechanism (SRM) form the Banking Union, which comprises EU authorities (ECB and SRB) and national authorities (NCAs and NRAs) with vast powers. Although crucial for its legitimacy, the Banking Union’s accountability is flawed, and not for the (stereo)typical reasons: accountability is a visible concept in SSM and SRM regulations, and political, administrative and judicial bodies are knowledgeable, engaged and thorough. Rather, this article posits that the SSM and SRM work very well because the legislature focused on practical details such as information flows, planning and continuity and coordination, while there has been no comparable effort to ensure the functioning of accountability tools. The result is a “system” characterised by limited access to crucial information, lack of continuity, and uncoordinated functioning. Changing this should not be hard but requires replacing blanket criticism and stereotypical views with greater attention to detail.

心理痕迹是指通过犯罪分子在实施犯罪过程中遗留在犯罪现场上的有形物质痕迹表现出来的、能够直接或间接地反映犯罪活动各方面情况的各种现象。有效运用心理学的理论和方法，从犯罪现场遗留的各种物证、犯罪现场的物品损失情况、犯罪现场遗留的犯罪者人体行为痕迹、犯罪现场的工具痕迹、犯罪现场的伪装状况等物证中提取心理痕迹入手，找出犯罪行为人的犯罪动机和目的、气质特点、性格特点、兴趣爱好、职业特点和职业技能、犯罪经验及经历等，可帮助刑侦工作者重构犯罪现场，提高案件侦破效率。
