Extraction of 2-methyl-hydroxybenzene and 3-methyl-hydroxybenzene from water solutions

The results related with extracting 2- and 3-methyloxibenzole from water solutions by 5 hydrophobic and 2 hydrophilic organic solvents are described in the paper. A variety of factors are shown to exert influence on an extraction degree: extraction agent (EA) nature, water-phase medium pH, EA saturation with water and adding of electrolytes to the water phase. A repetition factor needed to extract the preset quantities of studied compounds is estimated.     

Forensic chemical detection of furadan

Isolation of furadan from biological material by ethyl acetate is considered. Column chromatography with silicone gel L 100/160micro was used to purify extractions from biological objects. A technique was elaborated for identification and quantitation of furadan in cadavers. It is possible to use this technique in forensic expert examination.     

Detection of dipiridamol in biological fluids

Acetone is proposed as an isolating agent for dipiridamol isolation from biological fluids. Purification of the isolates was performed with liquid-liquid extraction and colon chromatography with silasorb C-18 sorbent. The technique of dipiridamol detection in the blood and urine is described. The assays results are presented.
