Analysis of penicillins in whole blood by reversed high-performance liquid chromatography

A reversed-HPLC method was established to determinate penicillins in whole blood. Thiamphenicol as internal standard was added to 0.5 ml blood. Proteins in blood were precipitated with acetonitrile, then the separate supernatant was directly injected onto the chromatography column. The range of five penicillins' linearities was 0.9918 to 0.9996, their range of relative recovery was 91.75% to 107.33%, their CV was 3.56% to 9.85%. Effects of different storage temperatures on the stability of analytes and interference of other antibiotics were also studied.     

A study of 44 forensic autopsy cases of adrenal hemorrhage

44 cases of adrenal hemorrhage (AH) were analyzed. The forensic autopsy showed that AH occurred mainly in male aged from 20 to 40 years old. The traumatic AH was more often seen in young men and the pathologic AH was mostly seen in elderly persons. AH were more likely found in bilateral adrenal corticomedullary junction. The pathological grade of AH was not related to the interval time of survival. The pathologic mechanism of AH was discussed as well.     

Brainstem changes in death from head injury

The cortex and brainstem changes in death from head injury were observed. There were hemorrhage, edema and neuron necrosis in brain injury group, and also in disputed group of brainstem injury.     

Analysis of 50 cases of sexual dysfunction

Fifty cases of male sexual dysfunction were analyzed in order to investigate the incidence and causes of the erectile dysfunction in the different injuries. The results showed that the incidence of erectile dysfunction of the patients with brevic fracture and urethra injury is 62.50%, main caused by the damage of pudendal nervous and arterial system. The incidence in the patients with the spinal fracture and light spinal cord injury is 50%, caused by the damage of nervous system. The erection in the 17 cases of the patients with only one testis injury is normal. Two cases with bilateral testis injury have suffered from erectile dysfunction.     

实验性脑挫伤GFAP,PCNA免疫组织化学研究

采用改进的Ｆｅｅｎｅｙ氏落体打击致Ｗｉｓｔａｒ大鼠脑挫伤模型,利用免疫组织化学染色,观察大鼠实验性脑挫伤后ＧＦＡＰ、ＰＣＮＡ的改变,用图像分析仪对免疫组化染色阳性细胞灰度和面积进行测量,ＳＡＳ统计软件分析,得出脑挫伤后ＧＦＡＰ、ＰＣＮＡ变化的时间规律性,为脑挫伤形成时间推断提供新的手段。ＧＦＡＰ阳性细胞面积和灰度伤后呈上升趋势,伤后３ｈ,即有显著增加（Ｐ＜０．０１）,至４天时,阳性细胞灰度,面积达到峰值（Ｐ＜０．０１）,伤后７天仍保持较高水平（Ｐ＜０．０１）。ＰＣＮＡ阳性细胞伤后１２ｈ出现,灰度呈上升趋势,面积呈下降趋势,伤后３天时达到最大值（Ｐ＜０．０１）。因此,ＧＦＡＰ、ＰＣＮＡ免疫组织化学染色阳性细胞的数量,灰度,面积改变有时间性规律;推断２～７天的脑挫伤则以ＧＦＡＰ、ＰＣＮＡ改变为主;脑挫伤后星形胶质细胞数目增多,只有很少一部分为星形胶质细胞增殖而来,且这种增殖在伤后３天时达到高峰

Can epidemiological studies assist in the evaluation of community treatment orders? - The experience of Western Australia and Nova Scotia

Epidemiological studies using administrative databases have several advantages over other methodologies in studying the effectiveness of compulsory community treatment such as community treatment orders (CTOs). We compared patients placed on CTOs in Western Australia with controls drawn from both within the jurisdiction and from another without this measure (Nova Scotia). Although in different countries, the mental health services in both jurisdictions share common characteristics. Notably, we were able to control for forensic history in our comparison within Western Australia. We analysed predictors of admission and number of bed-days using multiple, logistic or Cox regression as appropriate. Of the 274 subjects placed on a CTO, we were able to find controls for up to 96% (n=265). CTO placement was not associated with reduced admissions or mean bed-days, although there was a threshold effect with a reduced risk of inpatient stays exceeding 100 days. Outpatient contacts were significantly greater for the CTO group. However, we do not know whether the intensity of treatment, or its compulsory nature, effected outcome.     

专项规划环境影响报告书审查听证制度的实践与完善--以大连西部通道环评审查听证案为例

2004年11月30日举行的大连西部通道环境影响评价报告书审批听证会,成为检验<环境保护行政许可听证暂行办法>第7条规定的全国首例案件.该案应当涉及城市建设专项规划环境影响报告书编制和该专项规划的审批,而非涉及建设项目环境影响报告书的编制和审批.大连市环保局必须召集组成审查小组审查环境影响报告书,而不能以举行环境行政许可听证会代替之.<暂行办法>第7条所规定的"专项规划环境影响报告书审查听证"在行政审批机关、听证举行期间、听证程序的法定性、听证结果的法律效力等方面,与环境影响报告书行政许可听证存在区别,它不属于环境行政许可听证,<暂行办法>第7条的规定应当修改完善.     

根据mRNA稳定性推断死亡时间的研究

目的检测大鼠肺、胸肌β肌动蛋白(β-actin)mRNA在死后不同时间的表达,为死亡时间的推断寻找新的指标。方法大鼠断颈处死后于21℃温度控制系统模拟死后改变,在不同时间点抽提相应组织总RNA,利用RT-PCR技术检测β-actinmRNA的表达水平变化并对扩增产物进行半定量分析。结果大鼠肺β-actinmRNA于死后12d仍可检出,胸肌在死后8d的检测呈阴性。β-actinmRNA在肺脏和胸肌的稳定性呈现器官差异性和时间差异性。结论观察死后肺、胸肌β-actinmRNA的变化,可为死亡时间推断提供客观依据。
