中国古代国际政治思想资源——评《中国先秦国家间政治思想选读》

本文立足于<中国先秦国家间政治思想选读>,对先秦诸子在王霸之辨、交邻之道、自然状态及社会国家起源说等方面的异同进行了比较;同时,对诸子书之外的先秦典籍如<春秋左传>、<战国策>、<大学>、<大戴礼记·朝事>等也做了新的解析与再认识.最后,本文对中国古代国际政治思想现代化的前景及如何构建国际关系中国学派提出了展望和建议.     

Suicide by Cop Among Officer-Involved Shooting Cases

Abstract: The frequency and characteristics of suicide by cop cases (SBC) among a large (n = 707) nonrandom sample of North American officer-involved shootings (OIS) were investigated. “Suicide by cop” is when a subject engages in behavior which poses an apparent risk of serious injury or death, with the intent to precipitate the use of deadly force by law enforcement against the subject. Thirty-six percent of the OIS in this sample were found to be SBC with high interrater agreement (intraclass correlation coefficient = 0.93) for category classification. SBC cases were more likely to result in the death or injury of the subjects than regular OIS cases. Most SBC cases were spontaneous, but had clear verbal and behavioral indicators that occurred prior to, and during the event. Findings confirm the trend detected in earlier research that there was a growing incidence of SBC among OIS. SBC individuals had a high likelihood of possessing a weapon (80%), which was a firearm 60% of the time. Half of those with a firearm discharged it at the police during the encounter. Nineteen percent simulated weapon possession to accomplish their suicidal intent. Other findings highlight the histories and commonalities in this high risk group.

Truman and the Origins of the National Security State, 1945–1954 (Cambridge University Press, 1998); Guy Oakes, The Imaginary War: Civil Defense and American Cold War Culture (Oxford University Press, 1994); and Peter Trubowitz, Defining the National Interest: Conflict and Change in American Foreign Policy (University of Chicago Press, 1998).     

我国“住房阶级”维权研究:2001-2010——一个关于业主维权的文献综述

随着我国城市住房制度改革的深入推进,"住房阶级"的维权日益发展为一种运动,进而兴起为一个重要的学术议题。论文以近10年来国内关于住房阶级维权的研究文献为依据,总结了已有研究的基本情况、采用的主要研究方法、运用的分析策略和理论工具,并重点归纳了已有研究讨论的基本议题及其主要结论,然后在此基础上为下一步的研究提出了若干建议。     

改革开放的历史实践与马克思主义的实践观

三十年来中国改革开放的伟大实践实现了当代中国社会主义发展的“第二次革命”、“第二次跨越”，充分体现了马克思主义的实践原则，又实现了马克思主义、社会主义理论的伟大创新，极大地丰富和发展了马克思主义的实践学说和唯物史观，更是坚持和发展马克思主义实践观点的典型体现。因此，我们今天完全有必要从历史唯物主义的角度回顾和总结这段改革开放的历史与马克思主义的实践观的关系，深入认识改革开放政策的实践品格和改革开放的实践观意义。     

Isolated myocarditis as a cause of sudden death in the first year of life

A series of three cases of isolated myocarditis, presenting as sudden death in infancy, occurred over a period of 3 months. This prompted a review of the autopsy records of the Children's Hospital of Winnipeg. Over a period of 40 years, 24 cases of isolated myocarditis were traced from 3196 autopsies. Most (21 of 24) cases of isolated myocarditis occurred in infants less than 12 months of age. In 16 of the infants there were either no antecedent clinical signs (sudden deaths), or a short clinical history of less than 24 h duration. Heart weights, however, were greater than the 99th percentile of published normals in three infants and above the 95th percentile in a further 16 infants. Areas of hypertrophied fibres were seen even in infants with a short history. These latter findings suggest that a latent phase of myocarditis may exist. The responsible pathogens were identified very rarely, due to a lack of suspicion of the existence of myocarditis, and it is suggested that samples of myocardium should be submitted for virologic examination in all cases of sudden death in the first year of life.

民间文学艺术的保护制度与著作权法有许多不可调和的冲突。民间文学艺术传统知识在知识产权法律中对应的是传统文化权,在此基础上构建民间文学艺术保护的法律制度:保护宗旨应在于鼓励、支持对民间文学艺术这种活态艺术的传承、发扬;保护范围内的传统知识应在语言、音乐、动作、物质形式等几类表达形式中体现;权利主体应该是创造民间文学艺术的特定群体;权利内容应包括经济权利与精神权利;保护期限应是永久性保护。
