安全机制是当今国际安全研究领域的一个热点问题。在本文中，“安全机制”将被界定为“容许国家相信其他国家将予以回报，而在它的行为上保持克制的那些原则、规则和标准。这一概念不仅指便于合作的标准和期望，而且指一种超出短期自我利益追逐的一种合作形式”。而所谓东盟地区安全机制，在文中则主要指的是以下两类机制：一是东盟组织框架内、涉及东南亚地区的安全机制；二是由东盟主导的、有区域外因家参加的、     

东南亚地区一体化滞后的制度原因分析——东盟与欧盟的比较研究

东南亚与西欧在地区一体化进程上存在巨大差异,这反映了两个地区在国际制度安排上的不同。从国际制度安排的角度入手,在东盟与欧盟框架下探究东南亚地区一体化滞后的原因,不难发现东南亚与西欧在具体需要何种国际制度和由谁提供制度的问题上存在重大差异。此外我们必须看到,在这些差异背后还有着更深层次的因素。     

Transferring technology across borders: institutional effects in Chinese context

Effective technology transfer across borders is very complex and difficult. There are so many factors that affect the effectiveness of technology transfer across borders, and the host country’s institutional profile is a critical factor. The country institutional profile reflects the institutional environment in that country and is defined as the set of all relevant institutions that have been established over time, that operate in that country, and that are transmitted into organizations through individuals (Kostova 1997, 1999; Kostova and Roth 2002) [Country institutional profiles: Concept and measurement. There have been some studies about the relationship between institutional profile and technology transfer, but there are few studies with a Chinese context. Technology transfer plays an important role in developing countries and has been as one of vital strategies to build an innovative nation in China. Therefore, it is urgent to focus on the relationship between China’s institutional profile and technology transfer. The results of structural equation modeling, the subject of this paper, were based on an empirical study of 167 foreign ventures sampled in China, but they did not fully confirm what the institutional theory emphasized about the effectiveness of technology transfer. The normative dimension of the country institutional profile was shown to have a significantly positive effect on the effectiveness of technology transferring across borders, but contrary to expectations, the regulatory dimension of the country institutional profile was shown to have a significantly negative effect on the effectiveness of technology transfer, while the cognitive dimension has no significant effect on it. The concluding section of the paper discusses some practical implications and potential future study directions.      

Visualizing nanotechnology research in Canada: evidence from publication activities, 1990–2009

Over the last two decades the scientific community has witnessed unprecedented growth of nanotechnology research in Canada. Although recent studies have shown that Canada consistently maintains a position in the first tier of productive countries in terms of its share of the world??s nano-publications, a number of key questions remain unanswered. Using a unique nano-related publication dataset, this paper combines bibliometric analysis and science overlay mapping to visualize the ??invisible college?? of Canadian nano research. The present analysis finds that the rapid growth of nanotechnology research in Canada is, for the most part, externally driven. In recent years, research content has shifted toward nanobiotechnology fields. The geographical distribution of Canadian domestic nanotechnology research is characterized by regional imbalance: most research hubs are located near US?CCanadian borders. Canadian nanotechnology scientists have collaborated with a variety of countries, but Chinese scholars in particular play a leading role in Canada??s research exchange across national borders.

Chinese writer Mo Yan was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature on October 11. Before the announcement was made, his novels had already sold out at bookstores across China."About 5,000 copies of one of Mo’s novels have sold out," said Tang Zhengyu,Director of the Marketing Department at the Shanghai Literature and Art Publishing Group.     

大学生兼职的权利保护及其救济

大学生在兼职过程中权利遭受损害的现象较为普遍，但是从目前法律规定和研究状况来看，对大学生兼职过程中的权利保护规定较为零散地分布在各部门法或者行政法规之中，且较为原则。笔者针对大学生兼职过程中的权利救济问题进行研究，希望在某种程度上能够弥补相关法律规定的缺失和理论研究的不足，指导大学生在实践中用法律维权，并对司法中关于权利救济的诉讼提供一定的参考。
