"以青年为本"是新世纪共青团工作的立足点和出发点

要树立“以青年为本”的观念 ,就必须把青年摆在团的工作的主体地位去想问题、做决定 ,就必须把解决青年的需求、期盼、愿望作为立足点和出发点。     

论高校共青团建设

高校的共青团建设要贯彻实践"三个代表"的思想,在组织建设中加强团的创造力、凝聚力和战斗力,教育共青团员以"三个代表"的思想要求自己,做先进生产力的开拓者、先进文化的建设者和最广大人民根本利益的维护者.在实践中,要着眼于共青团员的全面发展和成才.     

以"三个代表"重要思想为指导发挥好共青团的职能作用

在中国特色社会主义物质文明、政治文明和精神文明建设中,共青团是党的助手和后备军,是国家政权的重要社会支柱,是实现青年政治社会化的重要组织,是社会系统中的重要支持体系。发挥共青团的职能作用,最根本的是以"三个代表"重要思想为指导。     

以科学发展观为指导，推动新的历史起点上共青团事业的新发展

共青团事业正处在一个新的历史起点上。全面建设小康社会的宏伟大业,共青团组织的特殊政治属性,当代青年的发展变化,社会主义市场经济的深入发展,要求共青团组织树立团的事业全面、协调、可持续的科学发展观,不断增强自己的发展能力,推动新的历史起点上共青团事业的新发展。     

共青团先进性教育与巩固党的青年群众基础

先进性是共青团建设的永恒主题。团的建设是党的建设的有机组成部分 ,在党的先进性教育的时代主题下 ,要加强共青团先进性教育 ,推进共青团先进性建设 ,强化党执政的青年群众基础。共青团先进性教育内容是 :先进性教育与思想政治教育结合 ,先进性教育与发展创业教育结合 ,先进性教育与先进文化结合 ,先进性教育与组织建设结合 ,以此强化巩固党的青年群众的政治基础、物质基础、文化基础和组织基础。     

Bangladesh-Pakistan relations: hostage to a traumatic past

Bangladesh-Pakistan relations reached a low point in December 2013 when the International Crimes Tribunal of Bangladesh convicted nine persons of war crimes pertaining to Bangladesh Liberation War of 1971, and imposed a death sentence on senior Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami leader Abdul Quader Molla. This paper examines the trials in connection to their impact on Bangladesh-Pakistan relations. The analysis in this paper shows that the traumatic break of East and West Pakistan continues to haunt bilateral relations and now has spill-over effects on South Asian regionalism. It also argues that the Awami League-India nexus is another historically persistent factor precluding better Dhaka-Islamabad relations.     

基层共青团组织整合青年价值观的路径探究

青年是民族的希望,是党和国家事业的建设者和接班人,引导青年把社会主义核心价值观内化为心、外化为行是基层共青团组织整合青年价值观的职责和目标。在新的历史条件下,面对各种挑战,基层共青团组织应确立以服务青年为导向的工作理念,深入研究青年成长发展需要,推进基层共青团组织机构改革与职能转变,整合服务青年的社会资源,努力在服务青年中实现对青年价值观的整合,从而推动共青团组织的政治目标和中国梦的实现。     

The limits of mediation in the Arab Spring: the case of Syria

This article investigates the limits of mediation during the Arab Spring by focusing on the case of Syria. It examines international mediation attempts by states, non-governmental organisation, and regional and international organisations. Drawing largely on Bercovitch and Gartner’s framework of mediation outcomes, the study suggests that the directive strategy applied by Staffan de Mistura through the United Nations–Arab League joint effort has achieved the closest outcome towards a full settlement. Mediation in the Syrian crisis has been limited by disagreement among key actors, lack of commitment and of coordinated efforts, questions of representation and legitimacy, and lack of neutrality and of inclusiveness. Despite its limits, mediation has been able to achieve important gains such as the longest and broadest ceasefire, access to the majority of besieged areas, considerable de-escalation of violence, commitment among key actors towards a resolution, and resolution of incidents of hostage crises. Despite its limits, mediation is likely to play an important role vis-à-vis the Arab Spring.

正确处理“四对关系”，提高企业共青团工作的科学化水平

共青团工作是企业党建工作的重要组成部分，党的十八大关于全面提高党的建设科学化水平的总体部署。给企业共青团更好地发挥党的助手作用以及履行组织、服务、凝聚职能提出了更高的要求。企业团组织要深入学习贯彻党的十八大精神，主动融入党建格局，彰显团组织个性，处理好党建与团建的关系；着眼全局，统筹兼顾，处理好有为与不为的关系；善于虚功实做和虚中有实，处理好务虚与务实的关系；坚守工作主题。创新方式方法，处理好创新与发展的关系，在探索实践中找到契合企业实际的共青团工作方法和路径，更好地履行团组织各项职能，成为企业价值链中的有效一环。
