客家先贤与马来西亚槟城海珠屿大伯公探析

马来西亚槟城海珠屿大伯公信仰,实源于当地华人敬重领导大众开拓邻近地区的会党先贤,慎终追远、崇功报德,以后凡事归功大伯公英灵冥冥中庇佑。到19世纪中叶,当地华人虽因矿区经济等等利害关系发生争执,但分裂各方,尤其是来自闽广客家府县的先民,即使互相血战,依然在照顾共同信仰出钱出力,由此不放弃未来和解机会。等到庙产主权经历长期变化,在19世纪末落入嘉应、惠州、增龙(增城与龙门)、大埔、永定五属共管,以客家人为主的五属同仁一方面根据三位大伯公的客家原籍,以尊神作为曾经分裂对抗的五属建立客家认同的象征,另一方面回归到尊神带领先民开拓南洋的民族先驱意象,强调信仰大伯公的客家精神是以回归与服务整个民族为主轴。     

National liberation and the conflicting terms of discourse in South Africa: An interpretation

Abstract

Underlying the moves and countermoves of the current communal conflict in South Africa is a struggle to control the meanings of the key terms of discourse—race, nation, apartheid and socialism—by which the conflict is characterized within and outside the country. Although no definition, therefore, of any of these terms can escape politicization, there is a case, historically and with a view to a negotiated settlement, for having apartheid, the most emotion‐laden of these terms, limited to post‐1948 doctrine and practice. The foundation for a negotiated settlement unaccompanied by overt civil war must be rather detailed agreement, tacit or explicit, on what the end of apartheid means. But if there is to be such agreement, it must be the work of a broad coalition from all of the race/nations acting probably against the desires of two major groups: defenders of the status quo and proponents of revolutionary socialism.

从成立于20世纪50年代的欧洲煤钢共同体发展到今天,欧盟一体化程度走在世界各区域一体化的前列,其推进的深度和广度令世人瞩目。文化认同建构在欧盟一体化进程中发挥着重要作用。他山之石可以攻玉,欧盟文化一体化进程对正在建设中的东盟有着重要的借鉴和启示意义。     

民法理论在知识产权中的运用

知识产权属于私权性质的民事权利 ,与物权、债权、人身权既存在共性 ,也存在个性。从其共性入手 ,进而再探究其个性 ,以取得对知识产权问题的全面认识。研究知识产权 ,应当以民法原则、理论为基础 ;基于知识产权客体的无形性 ,传统民法理论和制度并不能完全适用于知识产权 ,因此 ,还要适用特殊的理论和制度体系 ,世界上大多数国家的知识产权法采取民事法律制度下制定知识产权单行法的立法模式就是最好的例证。     

中日公务员权利义务比较研究

公务员权利义务规范是公务员制度的核心内容。中日两国公务员制度在公务员权利及保障 ,公务员义务及责任等方面具有某种同构性 ,但差异性也是十分明显的。同构性导源于规范对象的同一性 ,差异性则根植于政治制度和法制状况的区别性。     

文化研究视角下的警察文化研究

用文化研究的思路审视当代中国警察文化的研究,既有利于文化研究的本土化,也可以为警察文化研究提供一个新的视角。就警察的形象危机而言,借鉴霍尔的＂编码/解码＂理论,对官方主导的警察剧进行受众研究,发现协商模式占了主体,但在另一些媒体尤其是网络上,对立模式也是很明显的,这就要求我们重新审视警察文化的概念。警察的自我认同可以抽象为四个模型,警察主导文化应该重视理想型价值。警察亚文化起源于基层警察,是警察文化的亚系统,在构建警察的形象与自我认同中,发生了重要作用,是我们认识警察群体的重要途径,应深入研究。     

论民族认同理论及其融入高校思想政治理论课的思考

全球化和多元化的时代趋势使人们的国家民族意识受到严重冲击和挑战,民族认同理论作为解决问题的对策被纳入研究者的视野并引起多个学科领域的广泛关注。民族认同的概念非由民族、认同两概念的简单组合,但同两者的内涵、外延有着密切关联;民族、认同两概念的双重属性能推导出民族认同的双重属性。民族认同具有重要的理论意义和实践价值,在理论上拓展和创新了爱国主义,在实践中有利于民族问题的解决和各民族共生共荣。民族认同理论通过课理论内容的契合和教学实践的渗透实现与高校思想政治理论课的融入。     

建构主义视角下的中韩关系

自大韩民国成立,直到1992年中韩两国建交,处于东西方两大对立阵营中的中韩两国建构了长达近半个世纪的敌对身份关系。建交后,中韩两国开始建构积极的角色身份关系。从金大中的“合作伙伴关系”、卢武铉的“全面合作伙伴关系”,到李明博的“战略合作伙伴关系”,中韩关系呈现逐步提升的态势,两国的角色身份呈积极的认同关系。展望未来,尽管两国间存在诸多妨碍积极角色身份建构的因素,但继续加强全面合作,促进东北亚地区的安全与稳定,是中韩两国共同的愿景。因此,中韩两国建构康德文化下的朋友角色身份是值得期待的。     

The Role of Group Identity and Personality Domains as Indicators of Self-Reported Delinquency

We investigated the impact of personality factors and group identity factors on self-reported delinquency among high school students. Respondents were 420 Australian youth with a mean age of 15.22 r yrs. The sample comprised 224 males and 196 females. The strongest predictors of delinquency among both males and females were Eysenck's Psychoticism factor and an identity with so-called "rebels". In addition, Extraversion (males) and low self-reported academic achievement (females) were also found to be important factors. It was further concluded that Psychoticism, Agreeableness and Conscientiousness have little in common in their prediction of delinquency. The results are discussed with reference to previous research on the role of personality and group identity factors, and some suggestions for future research are also made.     

Strategies of inheritance among Kentish fishing communities in the later Middle Ages

Anthropologists and historians have long been interested in the subject of inheritance. One area that has received considerable attention is the connections between property, production and the family. Researchers have noted the complexity of the systems used by donors and recipients whereby assets are transmitted, including matters of timing, life cycle stage and the formation of relationships. One of the most significant times is death. For the family, the death of a spouse often has severe implications for its production and reproduction, and the strategies of inheritance employed affect its subsequent history. Studies of post-mortem inheritance have primarily investigated agricultural communities. This article seeks to test their findings by exploring the links between occupation and inheritance, and between identity and inheritance with respect to the fishing families from two small late medieval Kentish towns. The exceptionally good testamentary materials for the fishermen of Lydd and Folkestone reveal the deployment of a number of post-mortem inheritance strategies. By indicating the importance of significant relations in the transference of material and symbolic capital at this critical time, the study provides a greater understanding of the role of inheritance in familial and communal replication.
