Occupations,mediations, subjectifications: fabricating politics

The revolutions and protests that have spread across the globe since 2008 have been seen as a watershed moment. In this article we examine the relationships between urban space and politics that have emerged across these events. We draw upon the political philosophy of Jacques Rancière to provide a framework to understand some events of this period as political moments and, in addition, attempt to build upon Rancière's work to trace out the geographical dimensions of politics. The paper concludes with a consideration of the counter-revolutionary projects enacted by current social orders.

Multicultural Pedagogy Development in Modern Education

Although there is a growing interest in the influence of multicultural issues in education, there is still a lack of theoretically well-grounded comparative analyses of educational systems. Topics such as problems and prospects involved in the development of multicultural pedagogy are broadly discussed, but often suffer from an insufficient number of empirical and comparative studies. The lack of systemic or unified research in the field of multicultural education has reduced multicultural pedagogy within education to the simple implementation of individual training courses. As a result, multicultural pedagogy is generally oriented only toward the needs of a single country, rather than toward a system of multicultural interests that takes into account the interests of multiple countries. As a result, we must develop methods that will enable the realization of true multicultural pedagogy. The leading objective should be, firstly, the consideration of the individual as a subject of culture in a multicultural environment with a goal to determine the significance of the formation of an individual＇s multicultural qualities; secondly, the development of an integrative approach. Comparative studies are taking the lead in addressing this goal and recommending specific steps to incorporate multicultural pedagogy more systematically into an existing education system in every country. This paper addresses these problems by discussing theoretical questions behind the development of the ideological basis of multicultural pedagogy.

本文以中美地方政府治理结构比较为主题,从种类结构、层级结构、组织结构、职能结构、决策结构等方面对中美地方政府治理结构进行比较分析。分析得出,美国地方政府治理结构具有地方政府种类结构相对简单化、层级结构扁平化、组织结构灵活多样化、职能结构非同构化、决策结构多中心化等特征;中国地方政府治理结构具有地方政府种类结构相对复杂化、层级结构金字塔化、组织结构单一化、职能结构同构化、决策结构单中心化等特征。     

贵州省苗族居住地区中小学双语教学的现存问题与对策

贵州省苗族地区中小学双语教学存在语言融合主义的潜在影响,以及双语教学模式单一、民族语言文化教育生态环境相对缺乏、良好的支持条件的缺乏等问题与困难,严重制约了这些地区中小学双语教学的开展。为此,应树立多元文化教育理念,走出认识误区;积极探寻有效的双语教学模式,创设良好的支持条件,以促进苗族居住地区中小学双语教学的开展。

用法律手段保护民间文学艺术是知识产权保护“国际化”进程的需要,也是保护传统文化、增强文化自信、提升我国文化软实力的迫切要求.民间文学艺术的法律保护问题首先是由发展中国家提出来的,发达国家中对民间文学艺术保护相对较弱.比较法视阈下,民间文学艺术的知识产权保护尽可能既要与现行国内国际立法实现有效对接,又要坚持立法重构,以有效保护民间文学艺术传承、记录、整理和汇编者的合法权益.

20世纪80年代西方学术界兴起了协商民主理论研究的热潮,国内的学者及时地将译著介绍到中国,一方面梳理、分析和探讨其基本的理论架构和内涵,另一方面关注当代中国政治发展的现实状况,从现实的政治实践中发掘理论资源,为社会主义协商民主理论提供实践支撑。准确把握协商民主的基本内涵,探讨中国发展协商民主的现实路径,对推动中国特色社会主义民主政治建设发展具有重大的现实意义。     

Gamson rule not for all: Patterns of portfolio allocation among Italian party factions

This article investigates the dynamics of portfolio allocation within political parties to shed light on the patterns of conflict and cooperation between rival party factions. It provides a game‐theoretic model that helps in explaining differences in portfolio allocation due to alternative modes of party organisation or party system competitiveness. Focusing on party congresses to estimate the number, strength and policy positions of party factions, the Italian case is analysed by testing some hypotheses generated by the theoretical model. The results shown that, overall, spoils are shared in proportion to the strength of each faction, in line with the prediction of Gamson's Law. However, there are also some important deviations from this path. Rules that foster party leaders' autonomy in fact provide them with a higher degree of discretion that will be used to reward their followers and to ward off any credible and harmful threat to party unity. Indeed, strategic portfolio allocation might balance out a lower amount of policy payoffs and becomes a strategy to restrain minorities from breaking away, thus contributing to the preservation of party unity in highly competitive political systems.
