面向网络经济的财经类学生信息素养培养研究

网络经济已成为现有经济形态的重要内容，对财务、金融、贸易等领域产生了重要影响。网络经济不仅带来了社会意识和行为方式的根本性变革，而且对人才的信息素养提出了新的要求。本文在对网络经济的特征以及信息素养的新要求进行剖析的基础上，从文化素养、信息意识和信息技能三方面论述了财经类专业学生信息素养培养的内涵，并从信息技能层面、知识素养层面、信息意识层面三个角度提出了财经类专业学生的信息素养培养对策。     

Usability and Digital Inclusion: Standards and Guidelines

This article aims at discussing e-government website usability in relation to concerns about digital inclusion. E-government web design should consider all aspects of usability, including those that make it more accessible to all. Traditional concerns of social exclusion are being superseded by fears that lack of digital competence and information literacy may result in dangerous digital exclusion. Usability is considered as a way to address this exclusion and should therefore incorporate inclusion and accessibility guidelines. This article makes an explicit link between usability guidelines and digital inclusion and reports on a survey of local government web presence in Portugal.     

mStories: exploring semiotics and praxis of user-generated mobile stories

Innovations in information and communication technologies have allowed people to actively author multimodal content and engage in new meaning-making practices. New Literacies research has gone some way to understanding new meaning-making behaviours. However, this research often derives its understandings from studies undertaken with students enrolled in formal educational settings. Mobile technologies are increasingly situated outside such domains; the informal use of these devices by adults remains on the periphery of scholarly focus. mStories is a creative participatory digital mobile storytelling project. Taking a multidimensional perspective, this article presents the in-depth case analysis of one participant and their mStory. A semiotic analysis found that the user-generated content demonstrated complex and sophisticated multimodal sense relations. However, control over the textual or compositional meta-function of the text was determined largely by the computer interface, with users habituated to relinquishing authorial control over this element. Within this study, mobile literacy praxis was characteristically ad hoc and contextually embedded, and though mobile technology invites such practices, users were neither determined nor limited by this, and happily turned to other devices where necessary.     

Science and the media in South Africa: Reflecting a ‘dirty mirror’

Abstract

The public understanding of science is vital in any society, to counter pseudoscientific claims and quackery. The relationship between scientists and the media (the latter often the only channel through which scientific findings reach the public) was studied within a South African framework. An empirical survey was conducted by means of a comprehensive questionnaire sent to 740 South African scientists and researchers and 360 journalists. Because the media are important in the public understanding of science, the survey tried to establish the depth of and possible reasons for distrust between the two professions and what structures could be put in place to overcome this. This study found some significant differences in the views of scientists and journalists about the role of science in society, how it could be communicated to the public, and the reasons for this dichotomy. Finally, proposals to bridge the gap between scientists and the media are made: the media should give serious attention to raise the standards of science reporting by establishing science desks headed by properly trained science editors and well-trained science reporters. On the other hand, scientists should be trained to communicate better with the media and, therefore, the public.     

App时代大学生媒介素养现状及对策研究

以移动终端APP为主体表征的移动互联网络传播时代的最大特征就是信息的自产性、交互性、及时性、随意性。作为社会新知力量的大学生群体主动适应APP互联网时代特色的信息传播方式,培养良性坚定的价值观,树立科学健康的媒介素养观,提高自身甄别传媒讯息、利用传媒工具有目的地检索讯息、利用讯息的综合能力才是得当之法。如何提高大学生群体的媒介素养,从而建构一种科学、美好、负责的媒介生态环境,让大众传媒真正成为一种纯粹有益的思想交流、价值导向平台和一种新型的知识传播平台成为一种迫切的现实需求。     

Financial Literacy and Retirement Planning among Government Officers in Malaysia

ABSTRACT

This study examines the level of financial literacy, financial behaviour and retirement planning behaviour and its dynamics among Malaysian government officers involving 320 employees working in the federal government administrative centre in Putrajaya and Kuala Lumpur using a questionnaire. Findings show high level of financial literacy, good financial behaviour but a mediocre in retirement planning behaviour, and only education and personal income positively influence financial literacy. Age and gender of officers do not influence financial literacy. Furthermore, financial literacy does not correlate with retirement planning and neither does it mediate the relationship between financial behaviour and retirement planning.     

注重培育高校大学生信息素养

一些大学生在面对新媒体产生的冗繁复杂的信息时,出现了信息i人知偏差、信息判断失误、信息道德失范等问题,不利于其正确价值观的形成与塑造。作为培养人、塑造人的高校,应从以下几方面加强大学生信息素养的培育：制订科学、有效的信息素养培育方案,建立健全系统的信息素养培育课程体系,探索开展信息素养培育的在线培养模式以及注重培育大学生的信息实践能力。     

从负面涉警报道的应对析警察媒介素养教育的目标与途径

在现代社会,负面涉警报道屡见不鲜,公安机关一般都能正确对待,积极应对。但也有一部分干警不能以积极、平和的心态去对待新闻机构和媒体报道,暴露出了一些问题,体现了警察媒介素养的缺失。公安院校应该准确定位警察媒介教育的培养目标,明确警察媒介素养教育的内容和途径,指导干警进行媒体应对能力训练。     

“动新闻事件”与台湾媒体素养教育——基于批判媒体教育学的视角

动新闻是当代数字传媒以写实的手法通过动漫的方式所呈现的一种新闻样式。动新闻的内容大多为负面社会新闻,不利于阅听人的身心健康,在传播上可以通过手机或网络下载阅读。台湾壹传媒旗下的《苹果日报》推出动新闻后,因其报道内容膻色腥而震惊全岛,激起动新闻事件。这一事件深刻反映了媒体产品形态与内容、媒体市场赢利与社会责任、媒体自律与他律等关系的相互纠结。因此,详细剖析动新闻事件引发的争议,从批判媒体教育学视角解析动新闻的传播模式,分析动新闻事件背后的媒体素养教育观,阐明台湾媒体素养教育的实践困境并提出相关对策,对动新闻的传播和阅听人媒体素养的形成具有重要的意义和价值。     

论数字化学习能力和综合信息素养

信息时代全球化的背景下,知识信息化的发展速度前所未有.学习方法、学习资源、学习环境数字化从一种趋势将发展成一种必然.然而数字化的学习离不开信息环境,个人的信息素养是数字化学习的支撑.信息技术可以帮助我们如何发现信息,如何利用信息和如何分析信息等等.数字化的学习能力和综合信息素养的完美结合,才是学习知识、传播知识、应用知识、共享知识的最有效的途径.
