论女性审美文化的社会控制

社会转型期以女性为审美对象的审美文化是以男性的审美观和价值观为依据形成的。它将女性身体物化、消费化,使女性丧失了自由发展的空间、降低了自我生存的价值,给女性自身和社会带来极大的危害。女性审美文化应从性别理论分析的角度,从国家、社会集团、文化界3个层面加以社会控制:     

羞何以美——身体美学视野下的女性羞美

害羞是人类独有的情感内涵，身体性羞感来自于人类对于自我内在高贵灵魂的守护，展现了人类存在的价值和意义；女性羞美是女性在两性关系中自我意识的深层展示，是对于更高价值的追求和对低级价值的遏抑，重新认识女性羞美的价值，对于重建当代女性的价值观，开展现代女性文明具有重要意义。     

艺术美的弘扬与中国社会主义先进文化建设

当前中国广大人民群众的审美表达强调社会主义道德与情感的塑造,向善向美的愿望已经成为一种普遍的、强烈的社会心理,这是我国社会发展引起的精神文化变迁的主导方面。在促进先进文化大发展大繁荣的今天,文艺工作者要执着于描述当代中国经济社会生活发展进程中的美好事物,将深邃的人生思考贯穿于对社会美好事物的艺术弘扬、创造中,这样才会与广大人民群众产生强烈的共鸣。

杨绛出于对民族传统文化和人伦道德的尊崇和切身体验,在小说中塑造出一批贤妻良母形象,着力从她们身上发掘出流传久远的贤良美德,并以她们的人性美、人情美映照出周围可笑可讽的人和事.这些人物形象不仅能给人以美感和道德启示,还填补了文学史上的某些缺憾.     

Freedom,Equality and Fraternity in Kant’s Critique of Judgement*

At least during his critical period, all of Kant’s philosophical works have a secret political dimension. Among other things, following the analysis of Hannah Arendt, the Critique of Judgment – paragraph 40 in particular – became a main text of political philosophy. In looking at the Critique of Judgement from a political perspective, I shall refer not to paragraph 40 but to the Kantian discussion of pure aesthetic judgement. In my opinion, one can understand Kant’s remarks on aesthetic judgement, and especially transcendental anthropology, as meaning that Kant philosophically attributes the three political ideas of the French Revolution (liberty, fraternity and equality) to the whole human being as such, and not just to the intelligible man.

The Poetry of Negligence

Poetry and legal rhetoric are both forms of what the ancient Greeks called poēsis: the art of the word. Tradition nonetheless assigns poetry to the realm of art and beauty, and legal rhetoric to the different realm of law and truth. The late William Matthews' poem ``Negligence' transgresses the boundaries that we have erected between art and law, and beauty and truth. The poem presents a well-crafted piece of legal rhetoric in the form of art. This essay draws out the implications of Matthews' transgression, and suggests that in the end poetry and law have a lot in common: both are forms of manipulation by means of words. The essay develops this connection in order to join with Emmanuel Levinas in calling for a ``breakup in the omnipotence of the logos.' This revised version was published online in August 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.
