中西部地区农村女性人口流动:现状、问题与对策

中西部地区农村女性人口流动的动因除了一般意义上的主客观因素外,还有自身的特殊动因:经济发展和工业化、城市化水准的相对落后为中西部地区农村女性人口流动提供了充足的流动资源储备;政策反哺和区域产业转移对中西部经济社会发展效应的逐步显现,成为促进中西部地区农村女性人口流动的重要因素.目前,经济发展水平和对外开放程度、农村流动女性的自身素质、传统观念的影响、城乡差别的存在、社会就业渠道的狭窄等,共同制约、影响着中西部地区农村女性人口的流动.其突出问题表现为结构性问题、政策性问题、制度性问题、观念性问题和发展性问题.因此,我们要针对以上问题采取一定的措施.     

收入差距持续扩大背景下的收入流动性问题研究

收入流动性是收入分配问题研究的一个新领域,较高的收入流动性是社会公平的重要标志。本文首先界定收入流动性,其次从不同的角度对收入流动性进行分类,有相对收入流动和绝对收入流动、代际收入流动和代内收入流动、宏观收入流动和微观收入流动;从测度收入流动性的方法来看,主要有公理方法和福利主义方法。最后探讨了现有收入流动性研究的局限性和未来研究的方向。     

Child Poverty and Social Mobility: Taking the Measure of the Coalition's ‘New Approach’

Reviewing two of the latest reports by social mobility tsar, Alan Milburn and ‘social justice’ champion, Iain Duncan Smith, the article examines the politics and policy of the Coalition's fairness strategy and the jostling for position that is going on behind the scenes. Whilst continuing to pay lip service to the goal of ending child poverty, the government is seeking to redefine the problem, away from a narrow focus on relative low income. Beneath the rhetoric, the article highlights the close similarities between the ‘new’ and ‘old’ approaches, finding that the evidence behind the government's claims is unconvincing. Far from offering a ‘step‐change’ in provision, it concludes that in the new age of austerity the Coalition will struggle to make any positive progress on tackling poverty and improving the relative life chances of disadvantaged children.

南京国民政府建立后,一方面内部面临地方实力派空军不断发展的压力,另一方面中国共产党领导的革命力量也在不断壮大,使国民政府如芒在背。外部日本军事力量的发展,特别是1932年淞沪战役中中方空军的绝对劣势,都使南京国民政府迫切需要一支强大的空军,对内结束分裂局面,对外加强国防,抵御外侮。     

ESCAPING CRIME: THE EFFECTS OF DIRECT AND INDIRECT VICTIMIZATION ON MOVING*

This article investigates the impact of criminal victimization on household residential mobility. Existing research finds that direct experiences with crime influence mobility decisions, such that persons who suffer offenses near their homes are more likely to move. The current study extends this line of inquiry to consider whether indirect victimization that involves neighbors also stimulates moving. The analysis uses the National Crime Survey to estimate multilevel models that incorporate data from individual households and their spatially proximate neighbors. The results show that the link between direct victimization and moving continues to hold after controlling for neighborhood context. Indirect property victimization also leads to moving, with effects about equal in size to those of direct victimization. In contrast, no evidence is found that violent victimization that occurs in neighboring homes influences mobility, probably because most of these events are nonstranger violence that provokes less anxiety for neighbors.

Families,divorce and voter turnout in the US

How large a role does the family play in civic development? This paper examines an important aspect of family influence by tracing the impact of divorce on voter turnout during adolescence. We show that the effect of divorce among white families is large, depressing turnout by nearly 10 percentage points. Using data from the National Education Longitudinal Study of 1988, we demonstrate that the impact of divorce varies by racial group and can rival the impact of parents’ educational attainment, which is generally regarded as the most important non-political characteristic of one’s family of origin. We attempt to explain the divorce effect by examining the mediating impacts of parental voter turnout, active social learning, income loss, child–parent interaction, residential mobility, and educational attainment.     

Literary Journey from North to South: The Reception of Nordic Women Writers,Their Books and Ideas in the Slovenian Literary System

This article discusses the previously unresearched reception of Nordic women writers in the Slovenian cultural space. The first part presents the early reception of Nordic women writers in the nineteenth century up until the First World War. It analyses both the passive reception (the presence of books by Nordic women writers in library catalogues, references in the press and in egodocuments) as well as the active reception (literary influence). The second part of the article details the case study of Sigrid Undset’s reception, which is very intense and is still ongoing today (the most recent translation is from 2015). Through the methods and approaches of translation, intercultural, polysystem, and gender studies, this article explores the impact of Nordic women writers in the Slovenian literary polysystem and the influence of gender in the reception process. The article concludes that the writings of Nordic women writers brought representations of women’s lives to the Slovenian cultural space. Moreover, this has been of great interest for the Slovenian reading audience since female characters rarely serve as protagonists in Slovenian literature (except in some works written by Slovenian women writers). Slovenian feminists regarded Nordic women writers as role models and legitimized their own feminist demands by quoting the works of Nordic women writers and by referring to their successful writing careers. Therefore, the writings of Nordic women writers fill in a gap in Slovenian literature and supplement and enrich it.
