Personal History Dynamics of Dating Violence Among Israeli Students

The purpose of the present study is to examine the relationship between dating violence and childhood experiences of aggression. The study specifically examines which of the following four variables is most strongly linked with the probability of partner assault in a current relationship: violence socialization, sexual abuse history, parental neglect, or childhood deviant behavior. Four hundred sixty-five Israeli undergraduate students participated in the study. The revised Conflict Tactics Scale (CTS2) was used to measure current violence. Personal history variables were taken from a large-scale questionnaire, the Personal and Relationships Profile (PRP). The results indicate that after controlling for the effect of other historical and demographic variables, the only historical factor which is significantly associated with partner assault is childhood deviant behavior. However, hierarchical regression analysis reveals that childhood deviant behavior is best explained by the three other types of childhood experiences, in addition to gender (male), nationality (non-Jewish) and religiousness (non-religious). We also found that while the probability of violence increases the longer the relationship lasts, it decreases in marital relationships and cohabitation. The implications of the findings are discussed.

社区安全服务的社会化是解决社区治安问题“综合症”的有效途径,是社区成员履行搞好社区治安的权利和义务的表现形式和社区警务工作成败的关键;社区安全服务社会化体系的两大构成主体是社区自身的安全服务力量和外来为社区安全服务的社会力量;要通过加强宣传教育、建立完善制度体系、开展风险保障工作来构建社区安全服务的社会化体系。

民间法研究之于中国法学：意义与方法启示

现时的中国法学正行进在多元路向上。民间法作为法律的社会化阐释方式,一方面作为法律多元之一而有利于法律的多元本质阐释,另方面作为媒介法律与社会的方式而助益于解决法律内部的逻辑困境和实现法治。民间法要以法源等方式和途径在制定法中凸现自身的存在和价值,才能助益于法治的实现。民间法研究不仅以条分缕析的问题意识、疑难思维突破和弥补系统论法律思维方法的局限性,而且在其中渐进的、点滴的展现和型塑着作为法的目的与价值素材的时代精神及其自身,因而从思维方法和目的与价值两方面不断型塑和提升着中国法学的科学性。     

Updating,subtyping, and perceptions of the police: Implications of police contact for youths’ perceptions of procedural justice

Individuals enter police encounters with expectations about how these interactions will unfold. These expectations are often rooted in racialized personal, vicarious, and collective experiences with the police. Bayesian updating posits that the way youth perceive treatment by the police during stops and arrests combines with prior expectations and perceptions to shape current views of the law, whereas subtyping suggests this process differs by race. This study examines intra- and interracial variability in these processes using longitudinal survey data from 3,085 Black and White youth. Regardless of race, youth who indicate they were treated with disrespect during police encounters had lower perceptions of procedural justice than did those with no contact, whereas contact perceived as respectful had no significant effects. For White but not Black youth, police encounters rated as “neutral” are associated with more negative views of the police. Other forms of legal socialization are also racialized, including messages conveyed in the media and by parents. Limited evidence exists that prior views of the police moderate the effect of police encounters on procedural justice or that these conditioning effects vary by race. Findings support updating, but race differences do not neatly align with findings expected with updating or subtyping theory.     

家庭对于农村留守儿童社会化的功能研究

目前,我国农村留守儿童已经达到了2000多万。他们能不能顺利地进行社会化,健康地成长,不仅关系到其自身发展,而且对于社会是否能良性运行,是否能早日完成现代化都有着重要影响。库利初级群体理论认为,家庭对于儿童个体社会化的进行有重要作用。但目前,人口流动导致农村家庭结构残缺,农村留守儿童的家庭教育处于缺失和半缺失状态。这种现实状况给农村留守儿童带来一些负面影响。基于存在的问题,应该构建一个能促使农村留守儿童社会化正常进行的社会网络支持体系。这需要家庭、学校、社区以及社会的共同支持,使得农村留守儿童能顺利完成早期社会化的过程。     

The Implementation Effectiveness of Trash Management in Ambon,Maluku: The Influence of Socialization,Coordination and Control to the Effectiveness of Trash Management

Principally, the policy is made to change the situation to be the desired one. The policy implementation in management context is in the terms of socialization, coordination and the control. This research is focused in the result process of public policy related to the trash management. The joint influence between the socialization, coordination and the control through the implementer and society behavior to the effectiveness of trash management in Ambon is being considered. The structural equation modeling (SEM) and Analysis of Moment Structure (AMOS) 20 is used to analyze the data in this research.
