浅议高职法学教育的创新

高职法学教育是法学教育的重要组成部分,是以素质教育为中心的多元化的人才培养模式。我国的高职法学教育起步晚、时间短,还没有形成系统的成熟的经验和模式,并存在一些模糊认识。据此,实践中我们需要做一些探索和创新。     

Implications of Out-of-School Activities for School Engagement in African American Adolescents

The connection between out-of-school activities and school engagement was examined in 140, 6th through 9th grade African American adolescents. Youth’s out-of-school activities were measured with a series of 7 nightly phone calls and focused on time in structured (homework, academically-oriented, extracurricular/sports) and unstructured (watching television, hanging out with peers) activities. School engagement was assessed during a home interview in terms of affective (school bonding), behavioral (school grades), and cognitive (school self-esteem) dimensions. Regression analyses controlling for parents’ education and youth grade in school showed that more time in extracurricular activities was associated with greater school self-esteem and school bonding. In addition, more time spent on homework was associated with greater school bonding for boys. Conversely, more time watching television was associated with lower school self-esteem and school bonding. Aryn M. Dotterer is a postdoctoral scholar at the Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute at the University of North Carolina. She received her Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Studies from The Pennsylvania State University. Her major research interests include the development of and changes in school engagement and academic achievement among ethnic minority and low income youth from childhood through adolescence with an emphasis on parenting and family-school linkages. Susan M. McHale is a Professor of Human Development and Family Studies at The Pennsylvania State University. She received her Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her major research interests focus on children’s and adolescents’ family roles, relationships and activities with a particular emphasis on gendered family dynamics and youth’s sibling relationship experiences. Ann C. Crouter is a Professor of Human Development and Family Studies at The Pennsylvania State University. She received her Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Studies from Cornell University. Her major research interests focus on the implications of parents’ work situations for parents’ and children’s health, psychological development, and family relationships.

随着整个民营科技企业的迅猛发展,中小型民营科技企业在我国经济发展中的地位和作用越来越突出,但同时也遇到了许多问题,其中资金短缺、融资困难已成为制约其快速发展的“瓶颈”。文章从中小型民营科技企业产权制度缺陷的角度,分析研究产权制度缺陷对中小型民营科技企业融资的影响,并提出了相应的对策建议。     

痕迹检验实验教学现状与对策

痕迹检验课是根据公安实战需要而为刑事侦查专业和刑事科学技术专业等开设的公安业务主干课程,其显著特点是实践性强.文章通过调查研究,对我国各公安院校痕迹检验课实验教学的现状进行了剖析,并从实验教学内容设计、实验教学的教学形式及组织实施等方面,提出了解决问题的对策.     

浅议侦查实验笔录

侦查实验笔录具有证据的能力,既可以为刑事案件是否应当立案提供理由,也可以为法庭审查提供证据,或为核实其他证据提供支持。在证据分类上,应当根据侦查实验笔录所记载的具体内容来确定其究竟是归属于言词证据还是实物证据,并应在法律上将其列为单独的一类证据。     

Access to Information in the West Indies: Gradual Progression to Greater Openness

Abstract

Since the turn of the 21st century, the region formerly known as the British West Indies has begun to embark slowly on the implementation of information rights legislation including freedom of information (FOI) legislation. The historical trajectory of the region has had a profound impact on its current position on the sharing of information between public entities and citizens. One of the challenges affecting the success of the implementation of FOI legislation is the state of recordkeeping in the territories, which has resulted in difficulties with providing access to official records and information over time. This article, from the perspective of an archivist/records manager, explores whether the historical past of the West Indies has some bearing on the slow enactment of FOI in the region and how proper recordkeeping could enhance the chances of success in implementation of FOI. It focuses on two main concepts, ‘open government’ and ‘citizen engagement’, underpinning FOI to assess whether the region has fully embraced these ideas and thus paved the way for implementation. It examines the Jamaican experience with FOI to determine whether this can be viewed as an effective model for other territories of the region to provide access to information for the betterment of West Indian society at large.     

Fear and youth citizenship practices: insights from Montreal

This article explores how fear contributes to empowerment and citizenship practices among youth who choose alternative lifestyles. Fear is conceived in a threefold manner: (1) as a manipulated resource in the political process, (2) as energy to be tamed through individual will, and (3) as radiating from actors and flowing through situations of action. Through an examination of how ‘risk-taking’ youths play with fear, the article critically reflects on the modern and advanced modern conceptualizations of the political ‘heroic’ actor and its articulation with an understanding of political action as decentered from human actors. Citizenship practices, it is argued, operate on five distinct levels of political engagement ranging from an awareness of the world outside of oneself to empathy for others and activism. Rather than being state-centered, the article develops an understanding of intersubjective citizenship based on affective memory.     

Formal and Informal Volunteering in a Nordic Context: The Case of Denmark

This article compares three different forms of volunteering: formal volunteering which is typically carried out in formalized organizations; informal practical help which is most often provided in a face-to-face context and requires the giving of time; and economic assistance which requires neither the co-presence of actors nor the giving of time. The different nature and structuring of these formal and informal ways of contributing to society suggest that they require different resources. Grounded in sociological theory we argue that three sets of factors are particularly relevant for explaining volunteering: personal or ‘human capital’ factors, social network resources, and civic values. We test in a multivariate analysis how various indicators of these personal and social resources relate to the different forms of volunteering. The study relies on a comprehensive survey of the Danish adult population. The findings, therefore, are interpreted in the light of this particular institutional environment which forms the backdrop for individual choices about volunteering. We find that the different forms of formal and informal volunteering seem to form a continuum of civic engagement going from the most public to the most private. Furthermore, compared to informal ways of volunteering, formal volunteering seems to be more contingent upon access to and supply of different forms of personal and social resources.     

Trusting,Happy, Religious,and Giving: Explaining Volunteering in the Context of Nordic Exceptionalism

Abstract

Using data from the European Values Study, this article examines the mechanisms through which social capital facilitates volunteering in Nordic countries. Three specific mechanisms are examined as drivers of volunteering: Generalized trust, subjective well-being, and religious activity. We find that trust bridges social capital and that people volunteer more as their level of generalized and institutional trust increases. Our results also indicate that individuals with higher levels of well-being and those who attend religious services regularly are more likely to volunteer.     

公安院校大学生学习投入现状研究

为考察公安院校大学生的学习投入水平,对271名大学生进行了问卷调查。结果表明,公安院校大学生的学习投入处于中等偏上的水平,不同性别学生学习投入的差异不显著,不同籍贯学生学习投入的差异不显著,不同家庭经济状况学生学习投入的差异不显著,刑侦类专业的学生在学习活力、学习奉献和学习投入总分上得分显著高于刑技类专业的学生,学业自我评价良好的学生在学习投入及其所有附属维度上得分显著高于学业自我评价较差的学生,理想型入学动机的学生在学习投入及其所有维度的得分均显著高于就业型入学动机的学生。
