韩流在中国的传播及其对中韩关系的影响

韩流在中国的传播,除了众所周知的中韩两国文化上的亲近性、韩流是韩国国家层面主导的文化输出模式、明星效应等原因外,韩流及韩国文化产业发展的内部原动力是赋予韩流以强大竞争力的根本原因。韩流在中国的曲线型的传播和中韩关系的发展有着一定的互动关系。韩流在中国的传播、发展过程一方面反映了中韩政治和经贸关系的密切联系,而"反韩流"现象不仅仅是中韩两国意识形态领域冲突的结果,其更深层次的原因在于双方经济利益和国家"软实力"的竞争,即中韩两国在文化产业领域存在竞争关系,这也成为妨碍限韩流传播发展的重要因素。韩流现象所折射的中韩关系的变化,说明未来中韩战略伙伴关系的深化仍然面临着需要克服的障碍因素。     

Flying bananas: small producer tactics and the (un)making of Philippine banana export chains

Global production network (GPN) analysts argue that workers actively contribute to the shaping of GPNs through different forms of agency. In this contribution I extend this argument to the tactical agency of small producers. By focusing on the phenomenon of side-selling among Filipino banana contract farmers, I show that these tactics have contributed to the emergence of alternative trade networks that undermined traditional lead firm behaviour and inspired new struggles over chain governance. However, as a diverse and ambiguous group of growers engages in this tactical agency, predominantly as small capital, they also contribute to the continuation of broader dynamics of capital accumulation and labour exploitation.     

Feminist utopias and questions of liberty: Margaret Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale as critique of second wave feminism

Taking her cue from the recent Cindy Sherman exhibition at Metro Pictures, New York, 'New Photographic Work 2000', Meagher considers the ways in which feminist art critics have analysed Sherman's work since it was first 'discovered' by Douglas Crimp in 1979. Her claim is that analyses of Sherman's work are involved in a debate about whether the images are useful or destructive to feminist politics. More importantly, what has come to be known as Sherman Studies places an emphasis not upon Sherman's art, but rather upon the identify of the artist. Instead of enquiring into the political status of the art works (are they feminist?), critics often end up asking after the political status of the artist herself (is she feminist?). Meagher's essay is in four sections: 'Encounters' traces the critical reaction to Sherman's work; 'In or Out of the Picture' considers the critical tendency to impose a narrative upon the work and the simultaneous insistence that this narrative is informed by the artist's feminist intent; 'New Photographic Work 2000' looks at the most recent reactions to Sherman'swork and prepares for the final section, 'Feminist Occasions', in which Meagher draws upon Nancy Miller and considers the relationship between feminist critics and their resistant celebrity.     

The ox fall down: path-breaking and technology treadmills in Indian cotton agriculture

ABSTRACT

Although India’s cotton sector has been penetrated by various input- and capital-intensive methods, penetration by herbicide has been largely stymied. In Telangana State, the main obstacle has been the practice of ‘double-lining’, in which cotton plants are spaced widely to allow weeding by ox-plow. Path dependency theory primarily explains the persistence of sub-optimal practices, but double-lining is an example of an advantageous path for cash-poor farmers. However, it is being actively undermined by parties intent on expanding herbicide markets and opening a niche for next-generation genetically modified cotton. We use the case to explicate the role of treadmills in technology ‘lock-in’. We also examine how an adaptive locked-in path may be broken by external interests, drawing on recent analyses of ‘didactic’ learning by farmers.     

Plantation rubber,land grabbing and social-property transformation in southern Laos

This paper critically examines theories of accumulation, dispossession and exclusion for analyzing the agrarian transformations that result from contemporary large-scale land acquisitions across the Global South. Building upon Marx's primitive accumulation, Harvey's accumulation by dispossession and Hall et al.'s Powers of Exclusion, conceptual lenses are developed through which to examine how land grabs transform property and social relationships of resource-based production. I examine the concession of 10,000 hectares by the central government of Laos to a Vietnamese corporation for extracting timber and planting rubber in the southern province of Attapeu. This acquisition has excluded farmers from land and resources that constituted their primary sources of (re)production, reconfigured rural property relations, altered the peasant relationship to land and produced new exploitative forms of wage labor.     

对劳动价值源泉的现代经济分析

世纪之交,劳动价值论面临着社会经济现实的严峻挑战。本文通过对现代价值形成的各类问题的分析,证明了劳动仍是价值的唯一源泉,剔除了劳动价值论中某些不符合实际的传统结论,澄清了人们对这一理论的某些简单化理解,肯定了劳动价值论仍具有巨大科学意义,足以充当现代经济分析的基础理论和基本工具。     

印尼爪哇岛印度教神庙研究

印度教在东南亚的古代史中扮演了非常重要的角色,国内学术界对这个问题的研究主要集中在宏观层面,对微观的文化现象的研究一直不够深入.在实地考察的基础上,本文以爪哇岛的印度教神庙作为研究对象,通过对比中爪哇的普兰班南神庙和东爪哇的加维神庙在建筑风格上的异同点,阐述爪哇岛印度教神庙的建筑特点.     

毛泽东的文化观与政治信仰

毛泽东的文化观与其政治信仰是密不可分的。"大众化"是毛泽东文化观的一个显著特征。毛泽东认为,无产阶级革命开辟了文化大众化的新时代,文化应该为人民大众服务,为社会主义服务。发展民族的、科学的、大众的文化,坚持"二为"方向和"双百"方针,通过自下而上的群众性的"文化革命"运动,克服党内的非无产阶级思想,提高人民群众的政治觉悟,从而坚持社会主义方向,巩固马克思主义的政治信仰。这是晚年毛泽东建设社会主义文化的一个主导思想。探讨毛泽东文化观与政治信仰之间的关系,对于我们今天发展中国特色的社会主义文化、坚持党的群众路线、推进马克思主义大众化工作都具有重大启发意义。     

规模化生产:我国现代农业发展的重要方向

党的十八届三中全会作出了加快发展规模化生产,推进农业现代化的战略部署。从我国发展规模化生产的必要性、重要性、紧迫性和可行性等四个方面来看,我国发展规模化生产是历史的必然,势在必行。我国发展规模化生产应采取以下对策和措施:1.土地流转;2.发展机械;3.规范程序;4.完善法规;5.培训人才;6.加强管理;7.重视科技;8.政策扶持;9.增大投入;10.增强合作。我国发展规模化生产,可能会带来以下几个问题:一是地力衰退问题;二是病虫草害问题;三是土地非农化问题;四是农民失业问题;五是两极分化问题。针对这些问题,作者提出了相应的防范对策和具体措施。     

虚拟社区的动漫迷文化实践模式研究——以《圣斗士星矢》动漫迷为个案的质化研究

本研究以主动受众理论为基本立场,采用质化研究路径,探索网络虚拟社区中动漫迷的日常文化行为。文章聚焦于《圣斗士星矢》的动漫迷——圣迷这一代表性的群体,综合运用观察法、深度访谈法、实物收集等方法,梳理出动漫迷六种文化实践模式,并对这些行为模式所呈现的四个文化特征进行了深入的阐释。本研究发现了极具特色的同人逆迷现象,并揭示了这一现象对迷作为主动消费者中的作用。
