冠心病痰瘀辨证与外周血单核细胞PDGF-A mRNA表达的关系

目的 :观察冠心病“痰瘀”辨证与外周血单核细胞 (PBMC)血小板衍化生长因子A(plateletderivedgrowthfactorA ,PDGF A)mRNA表达的内在联系。方法 :冠心病病人 30例 ,随机分为 3组 ,非痰非瘀组、痰凝心脉组、痰瘀痹阻组 ,每组 10例 ;另有健康志愿者 10例。采用逆转录 聚合酶链反应 (RT PCR)技术 ,检测PBMCPDGF AmRNA的表达。结果 :痰凝心脉组、痰瘀痹阻组PDGF AmRNA表达水平与健康对照组比较 ,差异有显著性 (P <0 .0 5 ) ;痰瘀痹阻组与非痰非瘀组比较 ,差异也有显著性 (P <0 .0 1)。结论 :PBMC中PDGF AmRNA表达的异常可能是冠心病“痰瘀”演变的重要机制之一。     

‘Strangers in their own land’: Powellism’s policy impact

ABSTRACT

In this paper, Solomos provides an account of the impact of Powell’s ‘Rivers of Blood’ speech on policy agendas about race relations and immigration. He argues that Powell’s intervention helped to shape policy frames around race and immigration in its immediate aftermath and beyond. By exploring the impact of the speech on the policy climate, his paper argues that perhaps the most important aspect of the speech is the way it helped to shape the policy agendas of both the Conservative and Labour parties, even as Powell himself was marginalized from mainstream politics. He concludes by suggesting that Powell’s intervention links up with contemporary debates and preoccupations about race and immigration.     

The influence of alcohol content variation in UK packaged beers on the uncertainty of calculations using the Widmark equation

It is common for forensic practitioners to calculate an individual's likely blood alcohol concentration following the consumption of alcoholic beverage(s) for legal purposes, such as in driving under the influence (DUI) cases. It is important in these cases to be able to give the uncertainty of measurement on any calculated result, for this reason uncertainty data for the variables used for any calculation are required. In order to determine the uncertainty associated with the alcohol concentration of beer in the UK the alcohol concentration (%v/v) of 218 packaged beers (112 with an alcohol concentration of ≤5.5%v/v and 106 with an alcohol concentration of >5.5%v/v) were tested using an industry standard near infra-red (NIR) analyser. The range of labelled beer alcohol by volume (ABV's) tested was 3.4%v/v – 14%v/v. The beers were obtained from a range of outlets throughout the UK over a period of 12?months. The root mean square error (RMSE) was found to be ±0.43%v/v (beers with declared %ABV of ≤5.5%v/v) and ±0.53%v/v (beers with declared %ABV of >5.5%v/v) the RMSE for all beers was ±0.48%v/v. The standard deviation from the declared %ABV is larger than those previously utilised for uncertainty calculations and illustrates the importance of appropriate experimental data for use in the determination of uncertainty in forensic calculations.     

艾灸活血化瘀作用机制的研究

目的:探讨艾灸活血化瘀作用的机制.方法:应用风寒湿环境及持续低温受冻的方法,复制基本符合中医病因病机的寒凝血瘀证大鼠模型,观察艾灸大鼠"肾俞"穴对其血液流变、氧自由基、血管内皮分泌功能、细胞因子和中枢神经递质含量等方面的影响.结果:灸治能改善模型大鼠的一般血瘀症状;降低血黏度、红细胞聚集指数(RI)、红细胞比容(Ht);提高血清和脑组织中超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)含量,减少丙二醛(MDA)含量;降低内皮素(ET)含量,提升一氧化氮(NO)含量,使ET/NO下降;使白介素-1(IL-1)、肿瘤坏死因子(TNF)减少,白介素-2(IL-2)增多;减少中枢去肾上腺素(NE)、多巴胺(DA)的含量.上述指标与对照组比较,差异有显著性(P<0.05或P<0.01).结论:灸疗有显著的活血化瘀作用,其作用途径与改善血液循环状态,调节血管的舒缩功能,稳定内环境等多方面作用密切有关.     

双峰驼荐尾部血管解剖

采用血管内灌注颜料的方法解剖观察了双峰驼荐尾部血管的构筑情况.荐中动脉(A.sacralis mediana)是荐尾部的动脉主干,自腹主动脉末端背侧壁发出,沿荐骨盆面向后延伸,其侧支有第6腰动脉(A.lumbalisⅥ)、荐支(Rami sacrales)、肌支(Rami muscularis)、尾外侧动脉干(Truncus caudalis lateralis)和直肠支(Rumus rectalis).尾中动脉(A.caudalis mediana)为荐中动脉在第2尾椎腹侧的延续.尾外侧动脉干末端分为左右尾外侧动脉.荐中静脉(V.sacralis mediana)在骨盆腔注入左侧髂总静脉.     

Amoxapine fatalities: three case studies

Amoxapine (Asendin), a recently introduced dibenzoxazepine, has been effective in clinical studies for the treatment of various types of depression. Three amoxapine-related deaths are reported. Quantitation of amoxapine was carried out by gas chromatography using 3% OV-17 column. Blood amoxapine concentrations were 11.5 mg/l, 2.8 mg/l, and 0.89 mg/l. The concentrations are many-fold higher than the reported therapeutic serum concentrations of 0.21 mg/l. These cases illustrate the potential toxicity and lethality of amoxapine overdose and the need for caution in prescribing a large amount of amoxapine to patients with suicidal tendencies.     

The rate and kinetic order of ethanol elimination

The rate and kinetic order of ethanol elimination was evaluated in human volunteers. Part I of the study involved dosing individuals with alcoholic beverages on two separate occasions. Breathalyzer tests were performed at 15-min intervals for a period of 5 h. Attention was focused on values obtained after peak blood ethanol levels had been reached. The second part of the study included having samples drawn from alcoholics at predetermined intervals during recovery from alcoholic intoxication. Blood ethanol concentration data was analyzed for kinetic order and a comparison of ethanol elimination rates of alcoholics and non-alcoholics was made. The predicative capability of estimating a BAC from both the zero and first order theories was also investigated.It was concluded that ethanol elimination is a zero order process. For subjects classified as non-drinkers (consume less than 6 ounces of ethanol/month), the mean ethanol elimination rate as determined in the study was 12 ± 4 mg/h. For subjects classified as social drinkers (consume more than 6 ounces but less than 30 ounces of ethanol/month), the mean ethanol elimination rate was 15 ± 4 mg%/h, and for alcoholics, the mean ethanol elimination rate was 30 ± 9 mg%/h. These results indicate that the rate of ethanol elimination increases with drinking experience.     

有机磷农药中毒的人体血液致死浓度探讨

对 4年间 6家医院所有门急诊有关敌敌畏、甲胺磷、乐果三种有机磷农药中毒病例进行了调查分析。运用气相色谱法对其血液中的浓度进行测定。采用 Bliss法,计算其死亡率和昏迷率的加权直线回归方程,并获得其经救治后血液半数致死浓度 LC50、半数致昏迷浓度 CC50。综合文献和临床实践,认为及时的救治对中毒病例的治疗转归有较大影响,其自然的血液半数致死浓度应在经救治的半数致死浓度 LC50和半数致昏述浓度之间。综合半数致死浓度和半数致昏迷浓度,计算其自然的半数致死浓度 LCe50值。     

Determination of blood-harbored 2′-diclazepam with auto-spe and gc-ms/ms

Objective To develop a GC-MS/MS method for determination of 2′-diclazepam in blood. Methods The sampling blood was extracted via HLB cartridge (a product from Waters Corporation, enabling operation of the auto-SPE (solid-phase extraction) for this determination) that was eluted with ethyl acetate, having the collected eluate subjected to GC MS/MS analysis. Results For the 2′-diclazepam tested, a linear relationship was present between the concentration and peak area from the calibration curve in the range of 20 ～ 20μg/mL, demonstrating the limit of detection (LOD) being 10ng/mL. Moreover, the average recoveries were shown within the range of 81.8%~90.4%, and the relative standard deviations among 4.89%~5.47%. Conclusion The here-established method is of high sensitivity, selectivity and strong operability, suitable for determination of diclazepam in blood. © 2021, Editorial Office of Forensic Science and Technology. Surpassing the word: Aileen Wuornos

This article explores the dynamics of Richard Move's drag performance of the late Martha Graham. Drag dance is remarkably self-aware as historiography, and it employs a rhetoric of bodies becoming other bodies: channeling, paying homage, re-embodying, reliving, being possessed. This article argues that drag dance has a historical project for dance history; specifically, that drag bodies can become a new medium through which aesthetic/kinetic histories are transmitted. In the case of Richard Move, the exaggeration and excess of the ageing Martha Graham become modalities that align with the ‘wrongness’ of his body. This is drag dance as a strategy of re-embodiment after the original body has been lost, and Richard Move presents his performance as a ‘haunting,’ much like the feeling Martha Graham describes as the result of a dancer's “first death,” when she watches someone else dance a role she had originated. Ballets like Graham's Lamentation and Cave of the Heart give Move the opportunity to portray Graham's struggle to continue to dance after this “first death,” using drag as a strategy to show up the eerie perfection of voice against the hollowness of the ageing dancer's body. Combining vaudeville and séance, moving from the restless gay “underworld” of the Meatpacking District to the right to presume himself the heir to the mother of modern dance, Richard Move first embodies and then moves beyond Susan Sontag's camp “etc etc” of Graham's self-performance.
