Comparison of Factors Associated with Parricide in Adults and Adolescents

Despite high revalence rates of intimate partner violence in the lives of extremely poor women with depenent children, few studies have investigated the patterns of violence that occur over time, and the characteristics of women that serve as risk markers for partner violence. This study compared 43 adult parricides and 12 adolescent parricides. Several statistically significant differences were observed. Adults suffer from severe mental disorders, have a history of violent behavior and psychiatric antecedents, and are more likely to threaten their parents. Less predictable in their acting out, adolescents present several profiles as a function of victims’ sex, number of victims, diagnostic elements, and being witness to or victim of intrafamilial violence. Results suggest different approaches should be used to understand the dynamics and course of these two groups.     

当代弱势群体概念的重新界定

弱势群体问题是近年来政府和社会所密切关注的问题之一,对弱势群体内涵外延的科学界定是展开对弱势群体问题研究和社会工作的基础。目前对弱势群体概念的界定标准有失偏颇,不能涵盖所有的弱势群体。文章认为对当代弱势群体的界定应从政治、经济、文化、社会和自身健康五个静态方面入手,同时结合其动态的发展底蕴和发展可能性子以把握。     

转型时期的中国社会弱势群体

弱势群体具有贫困性、边缘性、低层次性和心理敏感性的特征。弱势群体的构成因素是十分复杂的。对于弱势群体的救助一靠国家,二靠社会。要建立有效机制,采取得力措施,扶持弱势群体自强。     

Mothers of children removed under a care order: outcomes and experiences

ABSTRACT

Focusing on accounts by women who have children taken into care, this paper reports on a socio-legal case study in England, investigating the life experiences of nine mothers, whose children have been made subject to care orders under the Children Act 1989. In particular it considers the women’s experiences of their relationships with their own mothers and places this within the context of the mothers’ own experiences of having their children taken into care. Drawing on free association narrative interviews, the study focuses on the mothers’ accounts of long-term harm that began in their childhoods, especially their experiences of their mothers’ own difficulties and of their experiences of harm. It highlights the impact of relationship difficulties between mother and child, and questions how the legal concepts of harm and reasonable parental care are defined and deployed. In conclusion, it demonstrates a need for the legal framework to address children’s experiences of harm in a more intergenerational and intersubjective way. It highlights a new approach, suggesting consideration of harm, reasonable parental care and welfare to involve an increased concentration on the welfare of mothers and the relationship between mother and child, akin to an intersubjective and intergenerational approach to harm.     

论失业弱势群体社会网络的断裂与重构

中国人的社会行动是关系取向的,人们的社会关系是呈网状结构的,而这种社会关系网络结构又是分层化的.在失业弱势群体的社会支持体系中,非正式社会网络支持发挥着重要的作用.但是,这种非正式社会网络的社会支持作用是有限度的.失业下岗人员的社会网络断裂,更使其社会支持功能的发挥大打折扣.因此,失业弱势群体必须充分借助正式社会网络的社会支持力量,重构自己的社会关系网络.     

紧张理论下的弱势群体犯罪问题研究

我国正处于社会转型期,弱势群体犯罪现象日益凸显,寻求弱势群体犯罪原因并制定相应的预防对策已刻不容缓.通过对20世纪初期诞生于美国的紧张理论的研究,并结合弱势群体的犯罪问题,可以得出紧张和压力是弱势群体犯罪的主要成因,通过缓解这种紧张状态可达到预防弱势群体犯罪的目的.     

公共管理框架下关爱矫治模式的探究——以德宏州三县(市)老弱病残吸贩毒人员康复关爱中心为例

零星贩毒活动是吸毒者获取毒品的主要途径,也是禁吸戒毒难以巩固,复吸率高的重要原因之一.<禁毒法>的实施,针对特殊群体探索公共管理框架下的关爱矫治复模式刻不容缓.德宏州盈江、陇川、瑞丽等县(市)在该问题上进行了探索,为治理老弱病残等特殊群体人员的吸贩毒问题提供了借鉴.
