“Islamic cafés” and “Sharia dating:” Muslim youth,spaces of sociability,and partner relationships in Bosnia-Herzegovina

The paper explores forms of sociability and partner relationships among pious young Muslims in Sarajevo with a focus on the emic concepts of Islamic cafés (hospitality establishments perceived to operate according to Islamic moral principles) and Sharia dating (premarital relationships perceived to be sanctioned by Sharia). It draws on 10 months of ethnographic fieldwork conducted in different spaces of Islamic worship, learning, and sociability. This paper places the renewed interest in Islam within the context of a post-Dayton Bosnia characterized by complex and impractical government structures, lingering post-war grievances, and a brutal transition to a neoliberal capitalist economy. Although it acknowledges the continuing relevance of Islam as a resource for Bosniak nation building, it suggests treating the Muslim faith community as overlapping but distinct from the Bosniak community. By focusing on gendered interaction and partner-seeking strategies, this paper explores how young members of this faith community contextually negotiate their Islamic beliefs with mainstream local expectations of conventional behavior. The paper argues that believers’ varying responses to this predicament can be observed as an example of the localization of Islam, but they do not constitute a return to local, traditional gender roles and marriage practices, nor are they an introduction of foreign cultural patterns.     

溶剂蒸溶法对书写时间判定的初步尝试

本文针对圆珠笔字迹相对书写时间的鉴定,参照溶剂提取法,提出一种新的实验技术——溶剂蒸溶法.该方法以检样纸张作为展开板,以乙醇蒸气作为展开剂,通过测定圆珠笔油墨在纸张上的扩散程度来判定圆珠笔字迹的相对书写时间.     

Violence and Sexual Coercion in High School Students' Dating Relationships

A review of the dating violence literature reveals a limited number of studies with high school students and few studies that investigate the contextual issues of violence, such as meaning, motivation, and consequences. The present study sought to investigate the extent of dating violence victimization in a New Zealand sample of senior high school students (aged 16 to 18 years) and the perceived reasons for the violence, emotional effects, disclosure of the violence, and relationship consequences. A questionnaire that contained both open-ended and forced-choice items pertaining to experiences of violence and its consequences was developed using material gathered from focus group discussions with high school students. Findings showed gender similarity in the extent of violence and a number of significant gender differences in the aftermath of violence, particularly in the area of sexual coercion. These findings are discussed in the context of future research and prevention of dating violence.     

Determination of Changes in Crystal Violet and Phenoxyethanol (Dating Ink)

Ink dating is a significant problem in terms of forensic science. Ballpoint pens are generally used as writing tools on the documents. Aging is determination of the changes in dyes and solvents in the composition of ink over time by analytical methods. The evaporation of the solvents from the paper surface is faster than the decomposition process of the dyes. In this study, in 2017, we were asked by the court to determine whether the texts on the suspicious pages of an agenda dated 1996 were written within 2 years or earlier. Phenoxyethanol and dyes were examined in the composition of all suspected ink samples. The results show the determination of both the decomposition process of the dyes and the evaporation process of phenoxyethanol in the aging of the document entries written by ballpoint pen.     

The Classification of Inkjet Inks Using AccuTOF™ DART™ (Direct Analysis in Real Time) Mass Spectrometry—A Preliminary Study

A novel approach for the analysis of inkjet inks is being reported. A time‐of‐flight mass spectrometer, coupled with a Direct Analysis in Real Time (DART?) ion source (AccuTOF? DART?), was used to determine if inkjet inks from various manufacturers and models of printers could be reliably differentiated, characterized, and identified. A total of 217 ink standards were analyzed. As inkjet printing often involves the use of multiple colors (e.g., cyan, magenta, yellow, and black) to form an image or text, two different approaches to creating a library of standards and sampling methods were evaluated for implementation in a standard operating procedure. This research will show that a microscopic examination of the region of interest is requisite to identify what colors were utilized during the printing process, prior to comparing with known standards. Finally, blind testing was administered with 10 unknown samples to assess the validity and accuracy of the methodology.     

大鼠皮肤切创愈合过程中Cygb及HIF-1α mRNA的表达

目的探讨皮肤切创愈合过程中Cygb及HIF-1αmRNA表达的相关性及时间变化规律。方法 60只健康雄性SD大鼠随机分为9个实验组和1个正常对照组,建立大鼠皮肤全层切创模型,实验组分别于术后0、1、3、6、12、24、48、72、96h脱颈处死大鼠,提取创周皮肤总RNA,采用实时荧光定量PCR技术检测Cygb及HIF-1αmRNA的表达,实验组与对照组及各组间进行比较分析。结果 Cygb与HIF-1αmRNA创伤后表达的总体变化趋势基本一致,均于伤后12h首次达峰,分别为对照组的1.6倍和5.4倍(P<0.05);随后下降,并分别于伤后48h、72h再次升高,至96h达对照组的2.8倍和5.6倍(P<0.05)。结论大鼠皮肤切创愈合过程中Cygb与HIF-1 mRNA的表达呈现时序性变化且有一定的相关性,可作为皮肤损伤时间推断的指标。     

基于银胶表面增强拉曼光谱检验蓝色书写字迹初探

目的用基于银胶的表面增强拉曼光谱技术检验蓝色签字笔字迹。方法取4种常见不同牌号的蓝色签字笔在其字迹上滴加微量银胶,用显微共焦拉曼光谱仪进行检验。结果不同品牌的蓝色签字笔字迹的表面增强拉曼光谱不同。结论基于银胶的表面增强拉曼光谱技术可用于纸张上蓝色签字笔字迹的检验。

透析法测定钢笔墨水字迹的书写时间

本文通过最新研发的透析液,根据透析的原理,对书写在不同种类纸张上的不同种类的钢笔墨水字迹进行了书写时间测定。在基本保证透析液的浓度、厚度和钢笔字迹色料浓淡一致的基础上,考查了不同种类钢笔墨水字迹和不同种类纸张对透析结果的影响,得出了一般性规律,并介绍了该项新技术的原理和操作方法。     

岩画断代技术手段的检讨——兼论青海岩画的微腐蚀断代

从 2 0世纪下半叶开始 ,利用现代科学技术手段来解决岩画的时代问题成为岩画学家的首要问题。通过半个多世纪的努力 ,用 1 4 C、阳离子比、AMS以及微腐蚀等各种现代技术手段来进行岩画断代的方法 ,不断尝试性地运用于实践 ,并逐渐走向成熟。本文通过微腐蚀断代法对青海岩画时代的测定 ,取得了与综合分析断代法基本吻合的结果。表明用微腐蚀断代法对岩刻画进行断代 ,有着光明的前景
