浅谈大学英语口语教学策略

外语教学的最终目的是使学习者掌握目的语,随着交际教学法的提出,英语口语教学在英语教学中越来越受到重视。以大学生口语能力的培养为研究对象,在剖析英语口语教学中存在问题的基础上,探讨了大学英语口语教学的策略。     

SURVIVING BENCH STRESS

The article presents a discussion of judicial stress, along with proposed solutions. The authors gathered information on the topic of judicial stress from judges via a survey and attendance at two Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC) conventions. Some of the daily stressors endorsed by judges included endless caseloads, severe time limitations, social isolation, lack of privacy, and the weight of deciding the fates of others. It is important for our judges to be provided with ways of relieving and preventing burnout and stress. Proposed bench stress solutions include incorporating the Psychologist Advocate Program into the judicial system and creating specific guidelines for judges to take sabbaticals, which will serve to enhance our judicial system and the entire community.     

新生代农民工犯罪问题的心理探究与矫正策略

目前城市农民工群体内部的代际分化已经形成,新生代农民工逐步成为了农民工群体的主力。而新生代农民工在为城市的发展做出贡献的同时,由他们所滋生的违法犯罪问题也引起了人们极大的关注。对引发新生代农民工违法犯罪的原因作必要的深层次的心理剖析,并采取相应的防控措施是消减新生代农民工的违法犯罪行为,确保整个社会平稳、和谐发展的需要。     

Public Discourse of (De)legitimation: The Case of South Estonian Language

This paper focuses on two different argumentative strategies for dealing with a regional variety of Estonian, one of which may discourage the use of South Estonian in favor of Estonian, while another legitimates the lesser-used regional variety. These argumentative strategies are studied by critical discourse analysis (CDA) of six articles in Estonian language newspapers and magazines published in 2004–2005. The use of South Estonian is discouraged by presenting real or imagined threats that it will undermine Estonian. This discourse also parallels the Estonian-Russian majority-minority discourse of recent years by employing zero-sum arguments of the Estonian language losing to Russian as a consequence of the recognition of South Estonian. Language ideologies, which also construct some varieties worthier than others, re-enforce an essentialist representation of separate languages. This representation will work toward suppressing linguistic variation.     

环首都区域水资源协调发展现状分析与对策

环首都水源涵养区是中国首都乃至全国的重要生态屏障,对维护首都和华北地区生态安全极为重要.由于缺乏长效保障机制,环北京周边地区生态环境严重退化,上游地区自产水量和出境水量均大幅度减少.统计分析表明,从2000到2011年,年均自产水量和出境水量分别减少了25％和64％.针对这种情况,该文分析了环首都水源涵养区水资源协调发展已具备的优势、条件以及存在的问题.在此基础上,从机构建设、专项基金建立、特殊财政支持和统一规划制定等5个方面提出了环首都水源涵养区水资源协调发展对策与建议.

娱乐场所已经成为侦查机关查缉涉毒案件的重要场所。娱乐场所涉毒案件具有以聚众吸毒为主、以吸食新型毒品为主的特点。侦查机关在查缉娱乐场所涉毒案件时需要对贩卖毒品、吸食毒品等违法犯罪行为有针对性的采取相应的侦查措施,做到深挖毒品情报、打击毒品犯罪,遏制娱乐场所涉毒案件的滋生。     

行政体制改革视阈下的公务员能力及提升途径

根据公务员的能力维度特点,必须健全组织人事工作机制,提升适应现代化水平;强化公务员培训机制,推行轮岗交流制度;健全考绩评价机制,全面提升行政效率水平。     

Peer Consultation for Mediators: The Use of a Holding Environment to Support Mediator Reflection, Inquiry, and Self-Knowing

In order to help the parties in mediation address their interests, concerns, and responses to the conflict, the mediator must monitor and manage his or her own inner thoughts, emotions, and feelings throughout the process lest they negatively influence the outcomes of the mediation. Peer consultation offers one approach that can be used effectively to support the mediator's inquiry into practice dilemmas and invite self-knowing that benefits the mediator as well as the parties in the mediation. The effectiveness of a group consultation process, however, depends on the development of "a holding environment" that can provide a safe and confidential space within which such an inquiry can occur. The mediation process is improved when the mediator is able to sustain relational and emotional tension within herself and between the parties long enough for new understandings and actions to develop.     

DISTINGUISHING FACTS AND ARTIFACTS IN GROUP-BASED MODELING*

Group-based methodology (SPGM) has been presented as suitable to test for the existence of subpopulations not directly observable. Several criminological studies have used this methodology, and it is fair to say that typological theorizing has been spurred by its development. In particular, much of the empirical support for Moffitt's taxonomy (1993, 2006) is from studies using SPGM. In a small simulation experiment, I investigate whether SPGM is suitable for such tests, and I examine the extent to which similar trajectories might equally well result from mechanisms suggested by general theories. I conclude that, as it is usually applied, SPGM cannot provide evidence either for or against a taxonomy and that the usual findings can be explained by competing theories. I argue that this result is not only because of the methodology characteristics but also because of the modeling strategy applied.
