新乡贤统战工作推动乡村振兴的实践和启示——以上虞新乡贤统战工作为例

统一战线是乡村振兴的重要法宝,乡村振兴为统战工作提供了新的领域。新时期统战工作将新乡贤群体作为其工作对象,开拓了新的工作局面。近年来,上虞统战在凝聚引导新乡贤推动乡村振兴方面取得了一定成效,通过对上虞新乡贤统战工作的案例分析,得出基层统战部门推动新乡贤助推乡村振兴,实现新乡贤工作和基层统战工作“互融共赢”,必须要处理好以下四对关系:官方与民间、传承与创新、“找出来”与“用起来”、制度与机制等关系。     

Political Economy of Southeast Asian Borderlands: Migration,Environment, and Developing Country Firms

The Chinese way of development shares many characteristics with the East Asian developmental state model. Key elements of this shared development model include state control over finance, direct support for state owned enterprises by the government, import substitution industrialisation in heavy industry, a high dependence on export markets and a high rate of domestic savings. Even the reform of corporate governance is not likely to change the basic features of the East Asian model in China. Among East Asian countries, China shares more similar characteristics with Taiwan rather than with Japan or Korea since China, like Taiwan, also has an economy of dual structure that divides the public and non-public sectors.     

The South African Life and Afterlife of Jim Reeves

This article considers the overwhelming and lasting popularity of the country singer, Jim Reeves, in South Africa. Interpreting the press and radio coverage of his two tours to the country (1962 and 1963) and two recent biographies, it considers the ways in which this representative of the Nashville Sound was constructed to appeal to particular sectors of the South African community. Reeves’s habitus was constructed – despite all evidence and behavior to the contrary – as respectable, devout, and loyal to Afrikaner nationalist ideology. The argument considers the ways in which this conservative demeanor bridged the bucolic imaginary and aspirant modernism of apartheid South Africa.     

Democratization by decree: the case of Bhutan

The small Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan is one of the most recent recruits to the world's democratic nations after more than a century of rule by the Wangchuck dynasty. The first national democratic elections were held in 2007 and 2008 and mark the formal transition from authoritarian rule, albeit of an enlightened nature, to democracy. But most conventional explanations of democratic transition are unconvincing when applied to the Bhutanese experience. This article reviews these explanations and demonstrates their lack of fit with structures and events in Bhutan. The two causal factors which do seem to explain the democratic transition are the strong state and transformational leadership. This is an unusual combination which not only challenges orthodoxy but also extends our understanding of the ways in which democratization can occur, a paradoxical way where, without any elite or popular pressure, monarchical powers are directed towards enabling democratization.     

依法治国视域下优化监狱形象的思考

在全面推进依法治国的今天,优化监狱形象是深化司法体制改革的需要,顺应当今世界行刑的发展趋势。由于监狱工作的封闭性、特殊性,加上现阶段受监狱负面舆情影响,监狱形象受到较为严重的影响。优化监狱形象,必须明确监狱形象内涵,梳理构成要素和影响因素,针对当前监狱形象建设存在的一系列问题,从源头上、根本上降低乃至消除监狱负面新闻产生的隐患与土壤,同时从战略上、方法上强化监狱舆情的引导,合理运用传媒提升宣传工作的成效,优化监狱的公众形象。     

澳门社会福利的政治生态

回归祖国以来,澳门居民生活水平大幅度提升,各项社会福利也有了明显的增长,这在本质上是由澳门特殊的政治生态所决定的。在一国两制下,澳门社会和谐稳定有着更为突出的重要意义和示范效应;在立法会对政府施政的制约配合关系中,立法会对政府的民生福利工作起到了良好的施政监督作用;在法团主义模式下,澳门社团的社会福利诉求往往得到政府积极的回应,澳门社团日益成为社会服务供给不可或缺的强大力量,而社团的垄断特性和碎片化发展趋势则要求政府致力于做好利益整合和利益均衡的工作。     

新世纪俄罗斯与中东欧国家关系探析

苏东剧变后，俄罗斯与中东欧国家之间的关系先一度紧张，后有所改善。此后，中东欧国家先后加入了北约和欧盟。在此过程中和过程结束后，俄罗斯与中东欧国家之间在一定程度上仍然相互敌视，它们之间依然存在着一些矛盾，但是，如较少考虑外部因素的影响，仅从相互关系现实的各个方面来看，双方的关系正不断地加强。这既体现出俄罗斯外交越来越务实的特点，也折射出俄罗斯对外交战略层次的考虑。

孔子的军人价值观思想及现代启示

孔子的军人价值观是一个以武德之仁为核心的思想体系。在这一思想体系中,足兵是实现军人价值之基、治国安邦之本;教民尚武、寓兵于民和培育军事人才是提高军人内在价值的基本途径;安国、济民、匡天下是军人的最终价值理想,执干戈以卫社稷、为保卫父母之国而献身是军人的最高的价值实现和最大的荣誉。孔子培育军事将才的武德实践及亲自运筹和指挥夹谷会的胜利,是其军人价值观理论与实践相结合的重要体现。     

农村文化建设具体实践之我见

目前农村文化建设存在问题,必须要继续加强和推进文化建设,以农民的现实需求和农村的具体实践为中心,改革农村文化建设领导机制与文化体制,进一步做好农村农家书屋、文化站等文化基础设施建设、管理工作以及农村文化建设其他文体工作。
