连横《台湾通史》论析：基于学术史的考察

连横一生以搜集、记录、整理、保存、研究台湾历史和文化为职志,著述颇丰,尤以《台湾通史》名世。纵观《台湾通史》的出版史和相关研究的学术史,实与近代以来中国历史进程相契合,其独特的学术价值和现实意义也逐步彰显。20世纪90年代以来,海峡两岸的《台湾通史》研究均进入新的发展阶段,无论视角还是视野、方法还是理论,特别是在学术性或学理性上,都有显著的推进和拓展。     

Productivity,craftwork and flexibility: the Mobil agreements

ABSTRACT

Using original documents, this paper describes and analyses the case study of one of the productivity bargaining agreements from a leading exponent of productivity bargaining, Mobil’s Coryton Refinery. As well as being important in the UK oil industry these agreements spread throughout the economy. They resulted in major concessions by the unions to relax inter-craft and craft-production trade boundaries and to changes in work methods. These are illustrated in detail and placed in context. Such changes were heralded as ‘new look industrial relations’ and as such were based on a conception of joint regulation. However, other interpretations are possible, and these are then explored and discussed.     

Fathers,adolescent daughters and gender in a low-income South African community

Knowledge about father–adolescent daughter relationships is mostly based on research in North-American and European contexts. Furthermore, it tends to rely on either fathers' or daughters' perspectives, and not on dyadic data. Informed by a social constructionist perspective, this study investigated the fatherhood constructions of fathers and adolescent daughters in a South African low-income community. We used Charmaz' social constructionist grounded theory method. Forty-two interviews were conducted separately with fourteen fathers and their adolescent daughters. Five conceptual categories were identified: (i) Predominance of fathers' provider role; (ii) Fathers and daughters having an ‘understanding’ in which daughters apparently complied with fathers authoritarian positions; (iii) explicit expressions of affection were mostly limited to special occasions; (iv) Fathers wished a better future for their daughters and attempted to keep them on track to such a future and (v) lastly, Fathers' expected daughters to follow their instructions and not their bad examples. Our findings highlight the influential and constricting role of dominant masculine and feminine gender notions in the discourses and practices of the fathers and adolescent daughters in our study. However, some evidence of contestations were present that suggests the potential of a shift towards more equitable gender relations.     

Towards virtuous and ethical organisational performance in the context of corruption: A case study in the public sector

With the increasing number of ethical violations reported across the public sector, the emphasis on ethics and values in governance is on the rise. Corruption is widely accepted as a form of unethical behaviour that can have detrimental effects on organisations as well as society at large. Research calls for empirical studies focusing on the contextual factors surrounding corruption. Based on the Contextually Based Human Resource Theory and using the case study method, this paper examines the role of context through a systematic analysis of corruption in a public sector organisation. We integrate corruption and human resource literature to understand employee behaviour, employee relations, HRM strategies, and organisational outcomes in the context of organisational corruption.     

Coming out of the shadow? Studies of local governments in Central and Eastern Europe in European academic research

This article is an analysis of the changing role of research on local governments in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) within mainstream European studies. It refers to dependency theory (Wallerstein, Prebish) as applied to scientific research. It classifies CEE as being in the semi-periphery of academic research. The empirical analysis consists of two parts: (1) qualitative review of the most important of the comparative studies of European local governments. It includes a discussion on the role of local governments and researchers from CEE in these studies; (2) quantitative based on an analysis of articles published in international journals and citations for those articles in Scopus. The analysis covers 14 countries (all new member states who joined the EU from 2004 onwards, plus the Balkan countries: Albania, Macedonia, and Serbia).

纯理性的、纯思辨的分析在法学研究中的局限性越来越明显,司法实践越来越需要实证分析的方法.实证分析的方法,就是如何获得知识的知识,怎样获得一个研究成果的过程和方法.实证分析强调三个意识:样本意识、量化意识、半知意识,还必需具备三个条件:理论资源、案例资源、量化分析手段.

积极心理学致力于研究人们积极的情绪体验、个性特征等对心理健康的影响,挖掘美德和能量。积极心理学弥补传统心理学的不足之处。文章在积极心理学视角下挖掘高职生自身的积极力量,分析了教师、校园活动、心理辅导等对高职生心理的影响,为学生心理健康工作提供参考范本。     

刑警职业倦怠现状与应对的实证性研究

心理素质是刑警综合素质的重要组成部分,关系到刑警队伍的整体素质和战斗力,关系到刑警队伍的可持续发展。刑警工作的高负荷、高应激、高风险的特征决定了刑警是职业倦怠的高发人群。通过运用专业化的心理测评工具和科学的数据统计分析,从实证性的角度为了解刑警职业倦怠的现状和存在的问题提供第一手的数据材料,为改进队伍管理方式、提高队伍素质、关心刑警的身心健康提供科学的参考。     

温州市新生代农民工群体犯罪成因及预防对策研究

温州市共青团组织在2012-2013年间对温州市新生代农民工犯罪问题进行调研的数据显示,新生代农民工由于受个体因素（经济、受教育、就业）、社会支持因素（社会包容与歧视,城市认同感）、环境因素（居住环境、文化环境、社会环境）的影响,教育程度低,法治意识淡薄,长期处于就业不稳定的状态,社会管理的缺失及受到社会歧视等多种原因使其走上犯罪道路,给国家稳定和社会发展造成了一定的隐患.因此,作为青年和党的桥梁共青团组织,应该依托多方社会力量,加强对新生代农民工的道德教育,通过各种渠道阐述新生代农民工基本社会保障体系建设的重要性,强化他们的话语权.关注新生代农民工工资支付保障制度及社会保险制度的实施情况,保护新生代农民工的合法权益不受侵害,预防和减少犯罪事件的发生.
