汽车和挂车后下部防护装置安装使用现状分析

后下部防护装置是减少高速公路小车追尾货车事故的重要技术手段,但现阶段这一装置的应用状况普遍较差,导致社会危害和给社会造成的损失巨大。要从根本上改变目前这一状况,需要从多方面入手加以整治。     

论中国特色的反腐机制建设

腐败问题,其实质是权力的异变,核心是权力的滥用。要有效地控制和治理腐败问题,必须加强反腐机制建设,强化和完善“以预警教育机制为前提、以监督制约机制为重点、以打击惩治机制为后盾、以激励保障机制为辅助”四位一体的反腐败工作机制。     

Organizing a wildcat: the United States postal strike of 1970

This article, part of a larger work in progress, uses archives, key secondary sources, and oral histories from participants in the 1970 United States postal wildcat strike for better pay and working conditions to argue that this was a monumental event both unique and representative of the times. It was a rank-and-file effort that began in New York City – with a history of labor militancy – and rapidly spread across the country. The strike defied federal statute outlawing federal employee strikes, and also union leaders who opposed striking. A spike in 1960s hiring of blacks, veterans, women, and young people, combined with established labor unity tradition, a nationwide workplace and long-simmering frustrations produced the strike. But its dual character (both spontaneous and organized by local union officials and activists) allowed it to grow and maintain for eight days with no central coordination. Besides winning a living wage, the strike triggered the transformation of the US Post Office Department into the US Postal Service (USPS) with full collective bargaining rights for postal unions representing its employees. Moreover, it brought rank-and-file politics into postal unions while contributing to the increased strength of postal unions, public union organizing, and the labor movement in general.     

益肾蠲痛口服液治疗绝经后骨质疏松症临床观察

目的 观察益肾蠲痛口服液治疗肾阳虚型绝经后骨质疏松症（postmenopausal osteoporosis,PMOP）的临床疗效。方法 将120例肾阳虚型PMOP患者随机分为治疗组和对照组,每组60例。两组患者均口服钙尔奇,治疗组患者加服益肾蠲痛口服液,对照组患者加服骨康口服液,疗程均为12个月,随访24个月。治疗前后及随访时,分别采用视觉模拟评分法（visual analogue scale,VAS）评价腰背疼痛,采用双能X线检测骨密度（bone mineral density,BMD）;并观察两组中医证候疗效及脆性骨折发生情况。结果 治疗后,两组VAS评分均较治疗前显著降低（P<0.01）;腰椎、股骨颈、Ward三角BMD均较治疗前显著上升（P<0.01）;随访时,治疗组VAS下降值及腰椎（L2—4）、股骨颈、Ward三角BMD升高值均显著大于对照组（P<0.01）。两组中医证候疗效及脆性骨折复发率比较,差异均无统计学意义（P>0.05）。结论 益肾蠲痛口服液可减轻PMOP患者腰背疼痛,提高BMD,改善中医症状,防止脆性骨折复发,在减轻腰背疼痛和提高BMD方面较对照药具有明显优势。     

根据手指节皱纹推断年龄的研究及应用

为了快速、准确、简便地推断年龄,笔者收集广西区1195人活体手指背照片.通过对中指背近节横纹特征的观察,并用解剖学、法医学、数理统计学的理论进行研究,结果发现手指背横条纹随着年龄的增长呈规律变化,即皱纹由少到多、由浅到深、由不明显到明显、粗纹间距由窄变宽的规律特征,具有一定的法医学应用价值.

浅析“美国重返东亚”表述中存在的问题

作为一种政治宣传,“美国重返东南亚”的表述存在着为奥巴马政府强势介入东南亚地区事务辩护的成分,并不是对冷战后美国东南亚政策的客观描述.在此基础上衍生而出的表述——“美国重返东亚”,承袭了为美国干涉东亚事务辩护的成分,有利于奥巴马政府借助论述的“软实力”弥补自身硬实力的下滑.盲目使用他人的论述,并在此基础上加以延伸,表现出中国对国际事务表述能力的缺陷,迷失自身立场.只有认真分析美方的政策文本,并从自身角度加以客观论述,才会正确地理解国际力量的变动,有利于中国利益的长远护持.     

Lightning Strike as Probable Cause of Death and Determining Identity Based on the Examination of Skeletal Remains

In this article , a case of examining an incomplete human skeleton found in a forest is presented. Based on the assessment of posttraumatic lesions in the skull bones, the cause of death of a man who had died 14 years prior to the examination was determined with high probability to be due to a lightning strike. Moreover, the rare pathological lesions within the skeleton, such as a healed fracture of the humerus and rheumatoid malformations within the hand, in reference to preserved medical records, have also allowed to identify the deceased. Most noteworthy points in this case are, however, initially difficult to comprehend, posttraumatic lesions within the bones of the skull such as carbonization and fracture of the vertex. Their origin can be explained by a lightning strike as the most probable cause of death. Thus, the presented case demonstrates probable cause of death and identity can be established many years after death, based on skeletal remains.     

Patterns of Internet and Traditional News Media Use in a Networked Community

Abstract

International communication has come increasingly under the impact of at least three major technological, socio‐economic, and political forces: expanded channels of communication provided by technological developments, democratizing pressures that have brought new voices to be heard in international media and forums, and new but as yet weak mechanisms for the conduct of meaningful dialogue and negotiations. Power politics has been thus increasingly supplemented or supplanted by image politics, questioning traditional boundaries between domestic and international politics, and creating image fixations that have proved occasionally inimical to accommodation of real interests. The symbolic uses of images, on the other hand, have served at least three kinds of cognitive interests: national solidarity, and domestic instrumental and global community. The Iranian hostage crisis, among a number of other contemporary examples, illustrates how these interests were served, symbolically and actually, in domestic as well as international politics. Through a case study of the hostage crisis, me paper concludes with some warnings on the potentials as well as menaces of image politics.
