中国早期政治现代化失败原因及启示

近代中国缺乏与民主相适应的市民社会是中国早期政治现代化失败的根本原因,而制度决定论及由此引发的政治激进主义则是其失败的直接原因。政治现代化是一个长时间的过程,不可能一蹴而就;政治现代化要以经济社会的发展作为依托;政治现代化离不开政治文化的支撑。     

拉美国家债务危机的成因及对中国的启示

20世纪70年代以来，拉美国家为了发展本国经济．大量举借外债。外债的迅猛增加，直接导致了80年代的债务危机及其后的金融危机。从拉美国家债务危机的成因中我们可以得到一些启示：在利用外资发展本国经济的过程中．必须保持适度的外债规模．合理优化外债结构，明确举债的目的，提高外债的使用效益．完善外债的风险管理，以避免发生债务危机和金融危机。     

The Case for Supply-Side Economics Revisited: The Effect of Time Preference

Despite some legitimate criticisms that are acknowledged, the basic idea behind the Laffer curve analysis of the 1980s is theoretically sound. Some of the fallacies and flaws that subsist in standard accounts of the general effects of taxation can be related to the fact that time preference is not taken into account. The primary significance of time preference has been insufficiently recognized in the mainstream literature. Apart from Buchanan's refinements of the Laffer curve analysis and besides the widespread recognition of the phenomenon of time preference by economists of the so-called Austrian school, amazingly little attention has been paid to it. This article constitutes an attempt to help remedy this situation. Moreover the Austrian analysis provides valuable insights concerning the problem of the incidence of taxation that haven't received proper recognition either.

关于无效合同是否有诉讼时效的问题,我国理论界和实务界之间对此争论不休,我国的合同法对此也没有相关规定,在司法实践过程中适用的标准也不一致。从现行合同法对无效合同的规定、确认无效合同应受诉讼时效期间的约束,以及无效合同诉讼时效的起算期间等几个方面对无效合同的诉讼时效问题进行分析,确认无效合同应受诉讼时效期间的约束。     

中国城乡居民自我支配时间的性别差异研究

本文利用2000年中国妇女社会地位调查和2008年国家统计局时间利用调查数据,分析了近年来中国妇女自我支配时间有所增加、男女自我支配时间差距不断扩大的趋势,年龄在20-34岁、受教育程度在大学及以上、已婚有偶及零收入者的自我支配时间性别差距最大。对此,文章提出了提高女性受教育程度、增加女性收入、促进家政服务和托幼服务的政策建议。

随着农村经济的快速发展，农民犯罪问题也日趋严重。农民犯罪是当前影响我国社会治安 稳定的重大问题之一。鄢陵县作为一个典型的农业县，其农民犯罪问题较为突出。通过对 大量案例的分析比较，找出农民犯罪在不同时间和环境内的规律；有助于有效预防和遏制 农民犯罪。     

Taphonomic Effects of Vulture Scavenging*

Abstract: From July through September 2007, three pig carcasses (Sus scrofa), weighing between 27 and 63 kg were placed outside in a grassy area in central Texas. A surrounding fence prevented entrance by terrestrial scavengers, while allowing avian scavengers unrestricted access. A fourth pig carcass served as a control for the rate of decomposition and was placed in a cage that prevented terrestrial and avian animal access. Modification of the carcasses was recorded through the use of two motion‐sensing digital cameras and daily on‐site observations. American black vultures (Coragyps atratus) and turkey vultures (Cathartes aura) waited c. 24 h before beginning to scavenge and completely skeletonized the carcasses in 3 to 27 h of feeding, leaving scratches on the bones. The accelerated rate of decomposition and the signature markings on the bones should be considered when interpreting taphonomic events and determining an accurate postmortem interval at vulture‐modified scenes.     

拐卖犯罪中连续犯跨越不同法律时段触犯不同罪名的定性研究

由于法律的修改 ,同一犯罪行为在不同的法律时段有不同的罪名和不同的量刑标准。而同一行为在不同法律时段中触犯的不同罪名 ,其犯罪构成有一定的共性 ,也有不同程度的差别。连续犯本应定一罪 ,却因跨越不同的法律时段而触犯了不同的罪名 ,其定性也就成为相当棘手的问题。司法实践中此问题在拐卖犯罪案中尤为突出 ,本文对此略作探讨 ,提出了问题的解决方案 ,并兼论其他。
