The long memory autoregressive distributed lag model and its application on Congressional approval

This paper considers the instrumental variables (IV) estimation of the autoregressive distributed lag (ADL) model consisting of fractionally integrated regressors and errors, while allowing for part of the regressors to be endogenous. The idea of Liviatan (1963) and that of Tsay (2007) are combined to construct consistent and asymptotically normally distributed multiple-differenced two-stage-least-squares (MD-TSLS) and MD generalized method of moments (MD-GMM) estimators for the long memory ADL model. The simulations show that the performance of the MD-GMM estimator is especially excellent even though the sample size is 100. The IV estimators are applied to the data of Durr, Gilmour, and Wolbrecht (1997) on Congressional approval. As compared to the 0.08 estimate of the long-run effect of presidential approval on Congressional approval based on the scalar ADL model of De Boef and Keele (2008), a stronger support for the divided party government hypothesis is found for a class of the vector ADL model which generates a corresponding long-run impact equal to 0.26 or higher.

über die Bagatellgrenze von mehr als 10% der im Vergleich zu den ursprünglichen Miteigentumsanteilen hinausgehenden, ge?nderten Anteile ist nicht § 10 Abs 3 iVm der Grundbuchsberichtigung nach § 136 GBG, sondern vielmehr § 10 Abs 4 Satz 4 WEG 2002 unter dessen besonderen Voraussetzungen anzuwenden. Fehlen diese Voraussetzungen, dann schreiben die S?tze 1 bis 3 des § 10 Abs 4 WEG 2002 eine grundbuchsf?hige Urkunde unter Angabe des Rechtsgrundes samt Aufsandungserkl?rung(en) vor, um die ge?nderten Miteigentumsanteile verbüchern zu k?nnen.

死刑复核程序是一种行使监督权的程序，这种监督程序的性质决定了它与审判程序及行政程序的不同。死刑复核程序的实行方式应该采取审判程序模式，即使这种审判模式也有自身的缺点，但在与行政化裁判模式进行利弊比较以后，审判模式仍应该作为设计死刑复核程序的蓝本。

Inspired by the ecological model of human development and inter-subjectivist perspective of identity formation, the article addresses the complexity of professional interactions and highlights the spectrum of possible reactions of Russian-speaking teachers in Estonia to changes in the domain of language-in-education. The qualitative research demonstrates different models of the teachers’ self-views that are constructed and practiced in the interaction within significant layers identified by the ecological approach and reveals the diversity of the dilemmas teachers as professionals face in their everyday working lives.

由于我国金融市场的刚性还比较强,政府目前可采用的金融手段并不多,一旦发生某种外生冲击,在均衡的意义上,政府很难同时实现就业增长、物价稳定、汇率稳定等主要目标,并可能出现人民币困境的问题。实现某种目标的政策的有效性依赖于对相关变量的把握及相关弹性的有效估计,更灵活的利率是经济体实现内外均衡的内在要求。
