The Establishment of the Philosophy of Comedy in The Cherry Orchard

A. P. Chekhov, known as “the pioneer of modern drama in the 20th century”, is not only a famous Russian anovelist but also an outstanding dramatist. The Cherry Orchard is the author’s last play. In this paper, we made a detailed analysis of the text. First of all, the paper analyzes its “joy in grief” comedy philosophy from the so-called “sadness”. Secondly, the paper discusses the transformation from a real existence to the metaphorical process of “the cherry orchard” in combination with the author’s life. Finally, this paper analyzes the surface structure and deep structure of the play from two aspects of portraits of characters and scenes and reveals the way to establish the philosophy of comedy in this play.     

Japanization of Modern Chinese Buzzwords——A case study of the word “yan”

Recently, the number of new words and buzzwords in Chinese borrowed from Japanese has exceeded vocabulary from other languages including English and French etc., showing a obvious trend of Japanization. Most of these new words were firstly borrowed, adapted and used by the young and later quickly spread via the Internet, among which some are frequently used by the mainstream media and finally accepted by the public with fixed connotation. Since most of these words are not included in dictionaries, they often cause communication difficulty and misunderstanding between people of different ages and social groups. Meanwhile, these new words and buzzwords become the target of severe criticism due to their clear Japanese characteristics and the widespread belief that they are the result of cultural invasion. With a case study of the word “yan”, this paper attempts to explore the Japanization of new words and buzzwords popular in modern China and the causes behind this trend to promote proper understanding of this trend so that it can provide help on proper use of modern Chinese language.

批判性思考在法哲学教学中的运用

语言情感功能的实现方式

在近些年来的语言学研究中,人们越来越关注对语言功能的研究,但是针对语言功能的实现方式的研究却相对少些,有的只是研究众多潜在实现方式中的一个层面。通过对日常语言的具体应用的分析,在收集整理了大量语料的基础上,本文试图系统地讨论语言情感功能的几个基本的实现方式,它们是:词汇选择,语音特点以及修辞手法。探讨语言功能的实现方式,不仅可以加深对语言的认识,而且对语言的实际应用也具有现实的指导意义。
