家庭背景、文化资本与教育获得——上海城镇居民调查

文化资本是家庭背景影响子女教育获得的中介变量。对上海城镇居民的经验研究发现:在子女初中以上教育获得中,家庭背景和文化资本的影响同时存在;低教育背景家庭借助文化活动参与实现了文化流动,高教育背景家庭通过家庭文化氛围实现了文化再生产;那些低收入家庭通过文化活动参与和家庭文化氛围实现着向上流动。

This commentary examines social and political implications of social egg freezing in a market that is stratified, globalized, and part of a larger bioeconomy. John Robertson''s article and public discourse prompted by Facebook and Apple''s ‘corporate egg freezing’ benefits provide touchstones for interrogating social and industry practices that embrace making reproductive capacity marketable. Supply of the cells and bodies necessary for assisted reproductive technology use depends on market thinking and structural inequality. What the industry produces are carefully calibrated social-political distances between participants in egg freezing and banking, as well as ‘third party reproduction.’     

Psychological Components of Infertility

Infertility is a medical diagnosis impacting 48.5 million couples globally. Infertility impacts physical and emotional health as well as social and romantic relationships. People with infertility report feelings of distress, grief, anxiety and depression. Couples notice changes in their relationships; some report becoming emotionally closer while others report relationship difficulties. People may feel more isolated due to lack of social support. People that use third party reproduction, such as donor egg, sperm, embryo or gestational carriers, have additional emotional impacts during pregnancy and parenting. Continuing changes to laws complicate international fertility care, particularly given the ongoing COVID‐19 pandemic.     

人类胚胎的法律地位及胚胎立法的制度构建

随着人工生殖技术的发展,体外受精越来越多,而这与传统的体内受精生殖方式有非常大的差别。同时,胚胎干细胞生物技术的发展也为多种不治之症带来了福音。这就涉及到了一个根本性的问题,即体外胚胎的法律地位究竟如何?这一问题与胚胎归属、继承权、侵权损害赔偿请求权以及能否被应用于科学研究息息相关,不明确胚胎的法律地位,这些问题都不能得到很好的解答。关于胚胎的法律地位,在理论上主要存在三种学说,即主体说、客体说和中间说。通过分析国外立法及比较各种学说,以胚胎为中间体的基础上,可以就我国未来关于胚胎立法的制度构建提出具体建议。     

Reproduction and family building strategies in early modern Japan: Evidence from two northeastern farming villages

Drawing data from the local population registers called “ninbetsu-aratame-cho," this study examines the patterns and covariates of reproduction and family building in two farming villages in northeastern Japan in 1716–1870. Marriages in these villages were very early and universal for both sexes, but reproduction within marriage was very low, due in part to curtailment of reproduction at relatively young ages, but also to long intervals between recorded births. Stopping and spacing of family building were achieved primarily by an extensive use of sex- and parity-specific infanticide, which enabled peasant couples to control the size and gender-sequence of their progeny. Women's positions within their household and in the village also influenced their family building processes. Peasant couples in these preindustrial Japanese farming villages were active planners of their reproductive life.

当代韩国儒教与释奠

为了探讨当代韩国儒教的现状,本文首先考察了韩国儒教的宗教争论、儒教界的组织与活动。其次,为了探讨代表韩国儒教文化的成均馆仪礼文化,主要通过分析释典祭仪礼的由来及其种类、释奠佾舞的乐章歌词,对韩国儒教现状与演变过程进行考察。韩国的儒教文化大致可分为两类:一类是具有一定形态的有形文化,例如成均馆的文庙、明伦堂、释奠、佾舞、地方乡校等建筑物或祭祀仪式;另一类是虽然没有一定形态,但保留在韩国人意识中的无形文化,例如礼仪精神、士精神以及祭祀文化等。
