Objective Through coalescence into deep learning, image super-resolution technology is being paid of attention for forensic personal imaging. Thus, a trial was here to carry out about the impact of image super-resolution technology on comparison of personal photographs from cases or events. Methods With 94 sets of sampling personal photographs collected from real cases, grouping was made on their respective quality-different image so that two image super-resolution algorithms were adopted to enhance the image of personal photograph. Such resultant image was compared against its original photograph image at 1 ∶ 1 (or N) contraposition under different preset conditions, hence having brought forth the intrinsic alternation of causation. Results Comparison results showed that the image super-resolution technology is not universal for improvement of image, demonstrating that it is not so good to improve the low and medium quality images as the sharpening processing, leaving the high quality image being improved significantly yet less practical applicability. Nevertheless, the image super-resolution technology is able to render a good improvement into an individual image. Conclusions From this analysis, the image super-resolution technology is referential for forensic personal image to utilize practically, yet not be over-relied on. © 2021, Editorial Office of Forensic Science and Technology. 目的将人工智能中的深度学习技术应用到人体肋骨骨折识别,实现人体肋骨骨折智能检测,提高法医肋骨骨折诊断效率。方法采集3143例人体胸部X线数字影像(2602例用于训练,541例用于测试),标注肋骨骨折特征点,通过多层网络堆叠,分层、分级主动学习原始数据高度抽象的特征表述,并将此特征反馈至检测器进行骨折检测,输出骨折位置及相应置信度。结果基于深度学习的人体肋骨骨折检测准确率在90%以上。结论基于深度学习的人体肋骨骨折检测准确率较高,可用于辅助法医进行肋骨骨折识别诊断、检验鉴定等,本研究可为人体其他部位骨骼损伤智能检测提供参考。  相似文献

One of the primary challenges for a law lecturer is to take students beyond their own assumptions about the parameters of a subject and provide them with new opportunities for exploration and a broader vision to enhance learning. A significant feature of law as a discipline of study in higher education that has the potential to impact on the curriculum and the way in which it is taught is the academic/vocational divide. Problem-based learning (PBL) activities make classroom settings unpredictable and surprising, and learning to deal with such uncertainty prepares students for one of the most crucial aspects of professional life: the ability to make judgements in a context of uncertainty. This article analyses the integration of PBL within an LLM module on International Commercial Dispute Resolution. The logic of using PBL in this module is to ensure that the more abstract and less engaging aspects of the course are learned in relation to a close involvement with problems that are highly relevant to students’ more concrete ideas of what the course is about and what competence would mean within it. The experience of the students with the PBL activities, captured in reflective narratives and anonymous questionnaires, is also discussed.  相似文献

The Legal Education and Training Review identified gaps in law students’ key skills development and this paper considers how skills training in three key areas of mooting, negotiation and client interviewing can be maximised so that law students have a sense of themselves as lawyer as well as law student from the beginning of their legal education. The research identifies numerous benefits to learning law through skills-based activities, but also discovers some possible apprehensions about participating from a student perspective. This paper draws on data taken from students who engaged in short-term optional courses in client interviewing, negotiation and/or mooting and considers the responses to a survey conducted prior to participation, a reflective survey post-completion and a focus group exercise. In total 64 students responded to the questionnaire. The research explores the expected and actual benefits of participating in the courses, discusses how these impact on students’ perceptions of their employability and the types of activities considered most valuable. The article considers how, in light of the research, experiential learning can be put to best use within the law curriculum.  相似文献

If one of the key reasons for an inquiry is to learn lessons and prevent similar events from reoccurring, recommendations must be implementable and implemented, but it is clear that lessons have not been learned and recommendations not implemented. This paper compares the ‘implementability’ of recommendations from the three inquiries of Ely, Bristol and Mid Staffordshire to stress the importance of learning lessons. It examines two broad issues of ‘who?’ and ‘what?’. First, some 80 per cent of the Ely recommendations were aimed at the institution, while 72 per cent of the Bristol and Mid Staffordshire recommendations were aimed at the system. Moreover, about 7 per cent of Ely's forty‐four recommendations have a clearly identified agent, compared to 15 per cent at Bristol and 41 per cent at Mid Staffordshire. Second, the policy tool of ‘sermons’ accounts for some 89 per cent of Ely recommendations, compared to 66 per cent at Bristol and 63 per cent at Mid Staffordshire. However, the earlier sermons did not appear to prevent the events at Mid Staffordshire occurring. Pulling these issues together, it can be suggested that, given the large number of potentially responsible agencies, recommendations should be ‘active’ with a clearly identified agent and that a clear policy tool or mechanism should be identified rather than rely on a vague tendency to sermonise.  相似文献

目的 观察大豆异黄酮(soybean isoflavone,SIF)对阿尔茨海默病(Alzheimer''s disease,AD)模型大鼠海马乙酰胆碱(acetylcholine,ACh)代谢的影响,探讨SIF治疗AD的作用机制。方法 将50只大鼠随机分为假手术组,模型组,戊酸雌二醇组和SIF高、低剂量组,采用双侧海马注射β-淀粉样蛋白(amyloid β-protein,Aβ)复制AD大鼠模型,分别给药21 d后,采用Morris水迷宫实验观察大鼠学习记忆能力的变化,免疫组织化学法检测大鼠海马组织ACh、胆碱乙酰转移酶(choline acetyl transferase,ChAT)、乙酰胆碱酯酶(acetylcholine esterase,AchE)的表达。结果 SIF可显著降低AD大鼠的逃避潜伏期(P<0.01),显著增加AD大鼠的游泳时间百分比、穿过平台次数以及海马组织ACh、ChAT、AchE的表达(P<0.05,或P<0.01)。结论 SIF可能通过增强海马组织ACh的代谢起到提高学习记忆能力的作用。  相似文献
